Great Nail Gun with minor irritating feature
I am very pleased with this nail gun (Paslode 21 Degree Pneumatic Framing Nailer). I have used several nail guns in the past and jamming was always a problem. In the time I have used the Paslode gun it has never jammed. Not once! It does a great job with driving the nails. The adjustment for nail depth works well. The gun is well balanced and does not unreasonably tire your arm hefting it around. A fixable problem was with the size of air inlet on the gun. The inlet is 3/8” NPT. What a cra...
High quality Nailer
This Nailer is great. It is made with quality materials that will last on the jobsite. The only question I had was w didn't this model include the male air fitting so it could be used out of the box? Every air powered tool that I have included the fitting to allow it to connect to the air hose. So, remember to pick one up prior to trying to use the model 350-21. Also, a standard 1/2" male fitting will not fit without a 3/8" adapter. Since the fitting opening was a 3/8" threaded port, I was co...
Compact, easy load!
This paslode 21 degree framing nailer really surprised me. The offset inlet works great at keeping the hose out of the way. The tool-less nail depth adjustment is easy to use. No more adjusting the air pressure to get the nail to sink properly. Just adjust the thumb wheel. It’s compact, and easily fits between studs and rafters. It’s not much bigger than my 16 gauge finish nailer. A littler heavier but not much. The switchable trigger is easy to operate and makes going from sequential to boun...
Great nailer for the right job.
This nailer is for construction contractors more than do-it-yourself-ers. It allows for quick and effective work. First surprise out of the box is that it does not include an air-hose connection and the opening is larger than the common size, so another trip to the store for a $6 connector. Nails load easily and nailer is well balanced and not too heavy when loaded. Switching trigger from single to rapid-bump firing requires moving the pivot-pin of the trigger. This requires time and attention, ...
Not fully vetted - great so far
I need this for a summer project and am looking forward to getting a lot of use! I took it out of the box to check it’s basic operations and found I needed to go back to Lowe’s to get a fitting before I started my test :) Easy to load nails, and Murphy proof (can’t load upside down). After hiking up to my compressor I was worried about adjusting the pressure for mail depth and was pleased that it didn’t need adjustment. Nail was flush with the wood on first shot! I have a different b...
Good balance and great power
The Paslode Pneumatic 21 degree framing nailer is well balanced at the trigger and easy to use. It holds two strips of nails and is easy to load since the nail follower can be latched back to allow loading. The depth adjustment is a knurled nut that can be adjusted with one hand. It allows adjustments from slightly below the surface to slightly above. Operated at 100 psi on a 50 ft 1/4" hose 31/4" nails can be set from .+ .060" to .200 below the surface. It has a 3/8 NPT input so a 3/8 to 1/4 ...
Lightweight tool that’s comfortable to use
This framing nailer has me wondering why I waited so long to get one. I’ve only just started using it, but it’s going to save me hours framing my workshop addition. It’s light enough to handle without getting tired and designed to be comfortable, and not even tight spaces are a problem with this tool. It appears well built and I expect to get many years of use from this framing nailer…I might even give my claw hammer a well deserved vacation.
Great for DIY'ers and Pros
This Nailer is solid and well made. The 21 degree angle allows for easy toe nailing and getting into tight spaces for repairs, while still being comfortable for repeated framing straight nails as well. The extra long magazine allows for longer work time between refills. Great product for pros but a nice tool for homeowners and DIY'ers as well!
Easy reload reliable nailer
I got the nailer to build a storage closet on the back side of our house. The Palasode framing nailer made the job easy. Convenient trigger lock made the job go faster repositioning to the next stud. I wished the nailer had a case for protection in the new storage closet.
Missing Important Part
I went to use this for building a work bench frame. Pull the gun out of the box and looked the gun over. Looks good. Easy to load. NO MALE COUPLER to hook up the air hose. I will have to purchase something that should have been included.
