Not Enough Rod Length
Very nice light. We put it up ourselves with out trouble. But with 9 ft. ceilings, the rod is not long enough to bring the light to the 36 inch optimal length. There is a shorter rod, but no coupling to put the two rods together. For a 9 ft. ceiling, it is tolerable, but if you have higher ceilings, you need much more rod and wire.
I’ve purchased this light fixture twice now - the first time it was the last in stock at my local store and was on clearance, but included no hardware, so I returned it and ordered one online. The online order was at full price, came in a clearly opened box, and included no hardware nor instructions/information from the manufacturer. We like how the fixture looks but it’s not worth the time or energy, going to return this one as well.

Too heavy for general mounting
I bought this item on clearance and that was easily my first mistake. The OEM screws were gone and replaced with Lowe's bags full of other screws. On trying to mount to a general electrical box, the packaging says this item is <7lbs. It is easily 15 if not 20 with all the metal. Ripped the box right out of the ceiling... a mess all around.

Not sure if it is worth it
Overall this light is quite flimsy. But that is not the worst part. We replaced the longer rod with 6" inch rod (provided with the lamp) but could not get it to tighten on either side. So you never know if it is secure or not. However, the worst part is after installation we ran it for about 10 or -15 minutes and start making the "buzz" sound. not sure if it is the power adapter that sits in the box that attaches to the ceiling or the light bulb. long story short it is very loud and annoying s...
Not for slanted ceilings!
When been searching for about 2 years for the perfect lighting fixture for the master bedroom. The instant we saw this, we knew it was perfect; however, installation wasn't exactly the most straight forward. Weak Design where Rod meets Pendant
This is a very beautiful light and a necessary addition to a beautiful line of LED products. However, this light has a serious and unsafe design flaw that must be fixed. The down rod is attached to a large threaded cap that screws into the Pendant to join the two pieces. Problem is it can barely hold its own weight.
