I needed something to cover the scratches on my furniture for some time. Since my furniture is Maple and has darken a bit over time I went for the light color. I didn't want the scratch to stand out with a dark color. The light actually blended into the wood perfectly. It made all the scratches disappear.

Old English scratch cover works wonders!

We've used this in the past to "refresh" the wood work in the kitchen and the trim around the doors. The scratch cover does a great job in making the wood look better than before. I know it doesn't last forever but it certainly makes the cabinets and trim "pop".

An Excellent Product for Many decades

I have been using Old English for many years. I have used it as a stain on wood on a screened porch. The stain lasted for 4 (+) years. Their products are very effective on wood furniture. The product covers small scratches and dramatically improves the appearance of the finish. It is very easy to work with and I have never been disappointed with the results. It is an impressive product.

Too light

Used on light wood kitchen canners after using cleaner. Was so light color that didn’t see any value to use after cleaner.

Hid scratches - delayed expensive restoration

Some friends bought a house where the previous owners' dog scratched some of the wood. They didn't have time/$ to sand/stain. I remembered this product from my youth and decided it was worth the reasonable purchase price to at least try. It did hide the scratches enough to help delay a more expensive fix. Perfect? Excellent product. I used this on my walnut table that I thought was ruined. I had a runner on it for years. I used this and my table looks like new. I also used it on my dining table and it took out scratches that were there for years. Run and buy this prop.

You need this for scratches!!

After a contractor scratched my bamboo wood floors up and did nothing about it, I learned about this. it covered up all of the scratches on my floor and now standing over those spots you can't even tell they were ever scratched. Some were surface, some deeper. But, I was skeptical but glad I bought it. I used a cotton swab to get in the deeper areas then just rub off with a soft cloth. It's as simple as that.

Excellent product!

I was amazed at how well this product worked to cover up scratches. I bought it originally to try to improve the appearance of our 54 year old bedroom furniture. It did an amazing job - the furniture looks so much better. The cleaner takes off dirt smudges, fills in scratches, and adds a low luster shine to the furniture. What it can't do is totally restore areas when the finish has worn off (nor did I expect it to), but it does camouflage them a bit. I also used it on several 'hand me down' ...
