We have owned the Rambler for about a year now. It has been from the Hill Country to the beach and been used as a grill and smoker. Very durable and have not had any rusting issues with the grill grates using a little olive oil and stored covered outside in a humid climate. Do take care of the gap around the lid with a little gasket tape and be careful when opening and closing the lid as the rear hinge gives the lid some play. You can definitely use as a smoker as long as you run an offset setup...

A Grill Built to Last
It’s been an absolute beast! I’ve owned my Rambler Portable since 2019 and it has been everywhere with me. I’ve cooked everything imaginable on it through the years. Truly one of the best grills I’ve ever owned. Now it’s been so well used and loved through the years that I’d truly like to restore it with new replacement parts and accessories. I’d love to keep my Rambler going for many more years.

The best small grill ever
This is the perfect small grill. I've been using them for a long time, in fact I wore one out, I now have two, one on my porch and one in my camper. It's easy to use and easy to maintain. You can easly control the temperature to get the best cooking results every time.

Great little grill
I bought one of these grills awhile back and it's the best grill I've ever had. It's so simple to grill on. I always tell people that if you can't grill on this then you can't grill at all. From day 1 it's been great. The only problem I've had is the fire rack. When I first got it I fired it up and everything was good ut after a couple BBQ's the fire pan twisted. It's difficult to get in and out but I manage. I don't know why it twisted but it did. I figure it's probably the metal. You know so...

Best compact charcoal grill available.
The Rambler is bar none the best charcoal grill on the market. I am so impressed with them that i have gifted several to family members. The reversable grates, adjustable heat, excellent air clow and control, even the thermometer is top quality. So efficient that upon cooking, i clamp it down and put the fire out. Next use i am able to recycle unused coal to kick start the next fire. Mine is nearly 7 years old (i use it several times a week) and only now am i considering replacing it as the ash ...

Little “JOE”
Outstanding portable grill to take on the go wherever you want high-quality steel and easy to assemble I love smoking Joe’s quality everything about it. I have all of their accessories I have pellet grills as well. This little guy is one of the best grills I’ve ever purchased for camping. It’s meant mostly for charcoal, but you can burn wood in here with a nice hot bed of coals.

I’m Impressed!
The Rambler is the new addition to our ever growing family of Oklahoma Joe’s products for our Smokehouse! I was looking for a small units that could handle the searing and that I could bring easily in outdoor events and tailgating! I’m more than happy to have pulled the trigger on this one!! It’s not that small and it’s sturdy with his 52 pounds of steel! I had some concerns about the charcoal tray, but when I saw the thickness of the metal crate I was impressed! Oklahoma to Alaska
My husband loves this grill and he is particular about his grills. It has replaced his old ones. We were also impressed with how quickly it got here. We live in Alaska and usually have to wait a long time to get anything. Reasonably priced and the shipping costs didn’t kill us either.
