Toxic to all plants in spray path.

The label is a lie. The label claims it contains Bifenthrin, Imidacloprid, and piperonyl Butoxide. However, the SDS says it contains ONLY Bifenthrin!!!! It does not disclose the make up of the carrier liquid.

Works instantly

So I bought this because pest control comes every two weeks and there are still bed bugs sucking my blood at night. I knew I had to work quickly because they scatter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this about a month ago, Ortho Bed Bug, Flea & Tick killer. I have 0 problems with Bed Bugs and Ticks but do have 2 cats that frequently venture outside. I do apply a flea application to both cats but that can still bring in Fleas from the outside. Follow directions for best result.

Product works fine, just the 30 minute wait to pick up something purchased online was dismal. Will buy it from someone other than LOWES next time.

Good Contact Killer

Ortho Home Defense Max Bed Bug Killer (liquid) in the gallon jug is a decent enough product, but it is a CONTACT killer ONLY. It claims no residual effect, and it has none. As a contact killer, it's effective. CAUTION: can't say the same for the aerosol spray in the metal spray can. It's a different formulation, and resistant bed bugs often survive even direct contact. Claimed residual effect is virtually non-existent.

Helped with infestation.

Had to liberally spray floor. Ortho and Hot Shot didn’t touch my infestation. I vac wood floors every day and sprayed several times over a month. I now have flea traps down.

Can rid the first time

I had rentals and had to deai with bed bugs several times ortho was the best of the several Brands I've tried including claim to be professional however ortho with the straight stream wand needs to be transferred to mist spray bottle. This allows you to completely cover an area or piece of furniture that leaves no path for the bugs, without crawling through the residue. Where it may take 3 or more applications, it could be done once if your thorough and mist EVERYTHING

Doesn’t Work

I like this for basic bugs, spiders and flys, but not for snow fleas (spring tails) they seem to thrive when I spray this. I’ll have to hire an exterminator now. I had so much hope for this product!
