Great product; weak instructions

The product is great. The assembly is easy, but the provided instructions are weak. I like that it has all the parts for thick or thin doors. I like that it comes with two different door glide methods. The measurements on the outside of the box and the requirement for a 1”x6” header would be great to know before purchasing it. Very heavy duty, wrong color

First of all, this track system is twice as “beefy” as I would have built it if I did so myself. And I generally over-build things. It’s spectacularly strong, all the hardware worked and the rollers are silent and smooth. I love it! My only gripe is simply that the box said it was a bronzed color, but it was actually black. Barn Door Functions Well

My son & I hung installed this hardware on a hollow core Luann slab door. Since we weren't sure how far the stiles extended inside the door, we also added a kickplate to the top of the door (our only regret was not getting a 2nd kickplate for the other side) for additional stability of the thru bolts. We also installed a pull handle to make sliding on the inside easier.

Requires an 84 inch tall door

I modified the roller bracket and machined a hot rolled steel bar to use as a header to get the spacing from the wall down to 1-1/4" . If you use a 2 X 6 header with an 1-3/8 door the gap is 2-1/4"

Good quality. Easy to install with good instructions. It is recommended to have a 1x6 header, so you might want to pick that up when you are purchasing and save a trip. We painted header the same color as the wall tto blend in. Double check to make sure it is level all the way across. Works like a breeze with the tall home made wood door.

Bad directions

I bought two of these kits. The directions are terrible. Both rails have solid oak doors hanging on them. With the doors hanging, I found it hard to get the rails level so the door would not slide all the way open or closed on it's own. I eventually got it after changing out the board I used to mount the hardware to. I also put a few inches of black electrical tape on the rail so the wheel wouldn't roll on their own. They look great now but it took me at least 2 hours to hang each door. 4 stars ...

Terrific

Used this rail for a barn door I built on our closet. Runs smooth as silk and very quiet. I couldn't get it perfectly level and it opened on its own, so I ground down a tiny little divot where the wheel sits all the way closed and it works perfectly. I think this is systemic of all hardware, not just this brand. Highly recommended.

Excellent Product

Very well made product that was fairly easy to install. All parts were included. Quality product. I ended up purchasing two kits to install a set of double doors. Very satisfied with the purchase and installation. The doors operate very smoothly.

Looks nice and easy to install

It was very easy to install. I made a custom door so that was the only thing that took time. Buy a header board 1'x6'x72" and some interior screws before you leave the store.

Easy installation with he made door

I lost the template, so I had to carefully read the instructions to figure out where to drill the mounting holes in the door. Only issue was that I had to replace the set screws in the bumper brackets (easily stripped out the corners of the hex hole)
