Would not recommend for 1 3/8" door

I purchased this hardware last year for a seasonal use property I have. I just got to building the closet and ready to hang the doors. No matter what I do, the hardware on the front door hits against the back door making it impossible to slide the doors. I checked to see that I had the rollers (#1 and #2) on the correct doors (back and front). My door is 1 3/8" thick and these hangers/rollers obviously are not for a standard door thickness even though the description states otherwise. Not sure h...

Works with 1 3/8 Doors, but not clear instruction!

I bought 3 of these kits for my closet doors. My doors are 1 3/8 thick. I read a lot of reviews stating they would not work. At first they didn't work for me either, but after reading comments and looking at the instructions, if you place the rollers right ( by #) and put the door with #1 rollers in the back, it will work out with no scrapping. Works flawlessly with 1 3/8” thick doors

I was not very optimistic about getting this track for 1 3/8” doors since there were many reviews stating it does not work but the manufacturer stated it will work so what can go wrong for less than 20 bucks. Yes, they work on 1-3/8" door slabs

You have to put the hangers with the most offset on the onside door, and the ones with the least offset on the front door, it's not rocket science. Look at the photo from the guy claiming they don't work, he installed the doors on the wrong track. A better puzzle is why the longer track is cheaper, lol.

Great purchase for price. Easy to install.

Price is right, instructions included, and minimal parts. There was also an app for BILT with interactive 4d schematics and overall was a pleasant experience installing. The hardware and rails are sturdy enough for our 80 pound interior closet door

Track is easily damaged

I purchased this to replace the builder installed closet door track that had gotten bent and damaged when my disabled husband fell into it several times over the years. This product described the track as being made of steel, so I thought it would be pretty sturdy. Complete set; fairly easy to install.

The plastic fingers should be a little longer on the floor gizmo that aligns the two doors. My floor is somewhat unlevel, so one of the two doors has to be high off the floor to compensate, making the fingers aligning the two doors a bit short.

Very good option for non standard openings!

I had to cover a 62.5 in opening. The older bi-fold doors cracked and I could not find a 30in wide and a 32in wide sets to replace. I did not want to order custom doors for the cost. A Lowes associate asked me if I was handy enough and suggested this idea of hanging slab doors on a track. I tried and made the mistake as one of the reviewer that I used the Hanger #2 for the rear/inside door and was unhappy with the install as I could not put the front door in. Product was fine, needed a 48" track-website said store had ten 48" kits in stock; went to store and there was only 1, and it was damaged. Had to spend extra $$$ for a 60" track and wasted 12". Nice gimmick to get people to pay more.

Would not work with my 1-3/8" doors

With this kit, I could not get my 1-3/8" doors to close without the back door scraping against the adjustment wheels on the front hangers. I followed the directions, using the 7/16" offset hangers on the back and the 1/8" offset on the front. When it didn't work, I had to experiment with different offsets, including some from other companies. National Hardware apparently doesn't sell offsets more than 1/2" or less than 1/4".
