Prestige 500 is Game Change For Me

Absolutely love the grill. Even heat, easy to clean, temp control is much easier than other grills I’ve had and the “sear zone” is a game changer for me. Haven’t tried the rotisserie yet by can’t wait to.

I replaced a name brand 3 burner grill and my new Napoleon Prestige has exceeded my expectations. I do alot of indirect roasting. I used to turn the middle burner off and the temp would always climb so I was continuously adjusting the gas knobs. With my new Napoleon, it holds at a much more steady temp. Oh it’s wonderful, our steaks came out perfect and it cooked them very quick. All the lights on it are so cute at night to light the grill up.

Rotisserie Grilling Rediscovered

I love the grill; the side infrared is great for steaks. I sear steaks and pork chops for a couple of minutes then finish on the main grill. I have rediscovered rotisserie cooking after 40 years with the back infrared burner. I did a small prime rib roast about 6 pounds it was amassing, so good I tried a pork roast on two different occasions one 9 pounds and other 6 pounds with outstanding results.

Mostly improved from our 18 year old Napoleon Grill

Very happy with it, enough to give it 5 stars, but I do have 3 complaints. This replaced an 18 year old Napoleon Grill that we gave up on. The igniter quit, the sear burner quit, and the flam box rusted out (not stainless). Cooks well. Assembles poorly. Igniters don’t work.

It comes in pieces and Napoleon apparently thinks their customers are illiterate because the instructions don’t have words. After a lengthy assembly, the igniters do not work, so I’m still troubleshooting that. After lighting with a grill lighter, it cooks well. The rotisserie is nice, but the spit bends under the weight of one chicken. I’ve reported the issues to Napoleon with no response. Not a great experience overall.
