I have never had "good" windows, so I really like them. I'm only giving 3 stars because they met my expectations, but didn't blow my socks off. The replacement window install was pretty basic, 4 to 6 screws, some foam and cheap plastic sticky tape and they were done. The installers could have put more attention to the foam insulation, as I saw gaps before they put on the tape trim. I was also surprised that the installers were using zinc screws. I guess they are good enough for most of the windo...

Good window but...
Milgard is also a victim of supply chain issues. Had to wait 2 1/2 months but the Person at The Window Store was very accommodating. Picking up the window was not easy. Went to pick up after being told to be there before 3PM. I did but pick up location was closed. Note on door said to call number. I did and pick up was scheduled the next day at 6 AM. Would have been nice if I was informed of this process earlier. After getting window I leaned it against a wall. Several hours later I noticed the ...

Not as good as expected
I bought this in late February 2020. It arrive at the local dealer about 3/11. When I took it home, I noticed a flaired section on the flange, but figured it would flatten out with a screw. However, when my contractor fully unpacked the window o 3/19, he noticed dimples on the bottom and top where screws had been inserted. They were sloppily covered with silicone. He thought it might be a place that collects water. We called our dealer and were informed that was normal for this type of win...

No regrets
Today is the second day after installation, so way too early to determine overall satisfaction or to give five stars. Three things I'm immediately pleased with: 1). When windows are closed, they lock automatically, and the process of opening them automatically unlocks them. (As comparison, thirteen years ago I had similar windows installed in a previous home. General appearance is the same, but in order to lock or unlock the previous windows, an inconspicuous lever had to be flipped. Often w...

Great Windows
I can't say enough great things about these windows after installation. We previously had 30 year old aluminium windows that came with the house when we first bought it in 2017. Those brought in a lot of draft during the winter months and a bunch of condensation. After switching to Milgard Vinyl windows, we are happy to say that we no longer have to endure those cold winter months anymore. I love love love our new Style Line Milgard windows. Keeps the cold out and the heat in; just the way I wan...

Great Quality Windows
We love these windows! They are very well made and slide smoothly. The screens are easy to remove. It is so much quieter in the house with these new windows. I was surprised to see that they were shipped without a wrapping of any sort. There was a piece of wood attached along the bottom for protection. There were no scratches in the glass or the casing, however one screen was torn. I’ll see if customer service can make this good. Otherwise, we are very happy with our purchase

for sunrise windows
i like my windows but hate the screens. the tabs keep breaking that you have to pull to get screen out. i dont think the screens are good at all. they dent easily and make the windows look cheap. my windows were very exspensive too.

replacing failed vinyl windows from Milguard
Have many Millguard windows that have failed inner low E coating pealing and leaking dual pane glass panels. Replaced out of warranty 8 of the defective panels by Millguard contractor, they broke one panel during replacement, one other panel has inside chips in glass, and all windows left dirty and covered with installation glue and hand prints. Upon cleaning found the defects in the installed panels.

Primo-Striking-Marvelous
We still had aluminum, single pane, crank windows. Upgrading is an understatement! The noise and temp level difference is HUGE! We live on a busy street and the street noise is quiet in comparison. Just a couple of days ago it was 90° and it was 8° cooler inside the house, HUGE difference. They are gorgeous and no issues almost a month in. I went with the grids in the front window and the curb appeal is so nice. (need to paint now, lol) The slide and lock mechanisms are working flawlessly so f...

Horizontal slider design
The horizontal slider does not fit properly as does the vertical slider. For some of my windows I used vertical sliders. The horizontal slider has a gap at the sill whereas the vertical slider fits properly. I was lucky in that I had an experienced installer who added a plastic strip at the bottom to cover the gap. Thanks to the installer, the window looks good. This gap was very disturbing to me until my installer came up with a solution. I believe that Milgard should fit the horizontal sl...
