Washer is broke and can't be repaired
I have owned the Model #MLH45N1AWW frontload washer for just over 2 years. The washer will longer drain, rinse, or spin with clothes inside. Take the clothes out and it works. The "load" was 3 towels. Midea technical support said the "main control board" needed to be replaced because the washer mistakenly believed it was overloaded. Bad seal design
Door has been leaking since we bought the product. We clean the seal out after every load and it’s still leaking. They sent a tech out and that was a complete waste of time. He said it was because of the few hairs that were in that load. So, you cannot have hair in your laundry or it will leak. Midea is horrible quality
Wish I would have selected a different maker for a washing machine and dryer. It left my clothes horribly wrinkled and then only worked for 2 years so I called customer service & they wouldn’t provide any technical support and told me it wasn’t under warranty event tho it says lifetime warranty on the front. Heavy machine, simple controls.
This is a great washing machine so far. Did the installation myself, so it was a bit on the heavy side to try and get the feet adjusted to have it level enough; you will definitely need a second person to help you with that part. It's just as quiet if not more so than my old Samsung front load washing machine that this is replacing. My guess for the noise that others are experiencing is it just not being balanced. Hopefully, this one will last longer than the three years the Samsung did!
