Would not recommend for use in garage or anyplace that gets hot. when temperature is in the 90 range have to run it on maximum setting. so, energy cost will be up just to reach the 36 to 38 range .

No freezer light!
I got this refrigerator for my garage a week ago. It's perfectly fine. The only thing I dislike is that it does NOT have a light in the freezer section!!! That makes no sense. I still have to be able to see inside at night... That is why it's not a 5-star review. Maybe I should take off a couple of more stars for that. The installation crew was great, I was very happy with them. If you don't need to see inside your freezer at night, then this refrigerator might work for you.

Not proper temperature
The refrigerator is perfect size, great interior and look. However, from day one, it did not cool properly. The freezer was fine. The refrigerator would not get below 44° on any setting. Repairman came out said it was the doors that were not adjusted properly. However, that did not fix it. Still waiting on solution.

Midea Fingerprint Resistant 18.1-cu ft
The freezer section of the fridge doesn't freeze. I emailed back and forth for a few days with Midea. They had me run a series of checks (temperature controls, door seal check, adequate space from the wall, 30 minute reboot, etc. But there is a design or manufacturing problem. They couldn't solve the problem and told me to return or exchange it with another fridge from Lowes.
