I have owned and have used many great Hitachi corded and cordless power tools over the years. Did lots of review reading and thought this would be a great saw for remodeling and general use. Powerful top handle saw with just one hiccup!

C3607DA. One of my oldest Metabo HPT tools purchased. Plenty of power. Features a light, 55° stop, silent mode so not to wake up the neighbors, blade brake, lightweight body. My ONLY hiccup (mindful it is the older model) is that I wish it had a rafter hook. More like 4-1/2 stars.

As Powerful as a Corded Saw

I was especially convinced to choose this 7 1/4" circular saw as reviews mentioned how light weight it is and I have so many blades the same size from my 25 year old corded Skillsaw (which still works) to help me compensate the arthritis in my hands. Saw that gives up nothing for being cordless

This is a full sized battery powered saw that feels every bit as powerful as a corded saw. I haven't counted, but have yet to wear out the battery during a normal construction session cutting through 2x material. Beyond my Expectations
