Metabo HPT MultiVolt 36-Volt 21-Degree Cordless Framing Nailer (Paper Strip) with MultiVolt 18-Volt 15-Gauge Cordless Finish Nailer

Metabo Convert

I am not a professional framer, however, I do a lot of construction. I have a pneumatic nailer that has never let me down but I was sick of the hoses and dragging an air compressor around to the point that I drove all my nails by hand. This can mean thousands when doing sheathing. My current project is a shop 32' X 52' X 15' high all plywood clad. I was getting a sore wrist driving nails. There had to be a better way. For its light weight and cordless freedom I had considered buying a buta...

Great Nailer!

I read some reviews on your cordless tools and they were very good so I gave you a shot and I was very impressed!!! Thought it might be too heavy but I had no problems using it even with my oldman arms lol. I ran about 800 nails through it and it worked perfectly!!! Can't wait til my next project so I can justify to my wife I need a couple more cordless tools !!!!

Raise your expectations

Having owned a number of nailer that under preformed or died, left my expectations at a low bar. To my surprise I have found the metabo hpt 36v framing nailer met and exceeded all my needs. Easy adjustment for nail depths, easy loading, long lived charge (battery seems to last forever), shoots accurately and always consistently. It's just a little heavier than most ,but well balance d. Excellent tool for the professional or DIY er I recommend.

Probably the best cordless nailer on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought four of these for my crew, and we have been very very impressed, incredible hitting power, long battery life and feels very good, 100% recommend We would love to try out the GEN 2 18 V framer

A framer's Friend

This tool is perfect for back framing, renovation work and general construction. This tool does not replace a conventional pneumatic nailer with respect to a full stick build, but for every other framing job, this tool is a must.

Excellent framing gun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being since october 2025 with my gun and love it so much get the job done not a single misfire. Great power and efficiency.

No jams!

I have been using this nail gun for a few months now and it hasn't jammed once! The battery lasts all day no problem. I was so impressed with this tool that I've been replacing all my other tool with Metabo ones, like my circular saw, impact and drills. The batteries are half the price and twice the power of even Rigid tools! That's a deal breaker enough for me.

Awesome

I bought this nailer because I got tired of buying gas and the miss firing of my old Paslode. I’d definitely recommend this framing gun to anyone

Best gun out there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used all the major players' cordless guns, orange, yellow, red, for all framing applications. Backframing, beam assembly, wall/roof assembly, sheeting, but for your money and value, go Green. For starters, you get the explosive power of Orange with the subtle bump of yellow which makes exploding 2x2s a rarity when boxing out duct work. I can't tell you off the top of my head who weighs more between metabo and the red guys but I can t...

Excellent nailer

Bought to use on a large fencing job (1600ft) for family. First and Metabo product. Nailer is large in everyway buy gets the job done. I wish they would make the magazine larger as a single sleeve of nails.gets annoying but you get used to it. Only complaint is that the gun either gets turned off accidentally by bumping the power button inadvertently during use or some other cause that would make you have to push the button to restore power. Also the power lights are too small and hard to see ou...
