Small, light, and powerful

I've been using this impact driver in my workshop for quite some time. It's very comfortable to use due to its sub-compact size, very powerful to handle even work on the metal building.

Good choice for carpenters, handymen, DIYers

I co-install custom doors and windows as a full-time employee, and do side-work in carpentry and finishing. I took the WH 18DDX onto the job-site and used it for about two weeks: Monday–Friday with the crew, Saturday solo. Fantastic tool

I was told about Metabo HPT tools from a friend who is a carpenter. I purchased a drill/driver in the past. It was a easy decision to purchase the impact driver. It's light weight, comes with 2 batteries, charger and case. It works excellent, the battery life is amazing, easy to use over head. I have used to build shelves and it works like a charm. This is highly recommend tool.

Power in a Small Package, Yes Please!

I have been looking for a good impact driver for a while. I had a lot of projects to complete and others that need started, projects like changing the rear brakes on a Hyundai Tucson, completely rebuild a 1970’s Honda CT90 motorcycle and hang various things in the house for the wife. Percent for any job

I bought this to add to my Metabo HPT collection. I already have the drill/driver. It's light weight and can be used one handed. It has plenty of power for screws and bolts. It is a great deal with the impact driver, 2 batteries, charger and case. I would recommend this for your tool collection.

Great Little Unit with a couple of quirks.

Would have given this 5 stars except for 3 things. 1) Still not used to a RED charged battery light, since we live in a world of multicolored LED's. 2) There is a strange need to pause a second or 2 before being able to squeeze the trigger again to engage the driver (still haven't figured out what that's all about). 3) The thickness of the forward and reverse switch is still very "cheesy" feeling to me ans feels like it is going to break off at any minute, even though I haven't had any issues wi...

Compact Alternative to the Triple Hammer

I own several impact drivers but my absolute favorite is the Triple Hammer. Only issue is for all the performance it can be a bit heavy to carry around all day, because of the larger battery I ended up picking up this Sub Compact to carry around in my workbelt. Great impact driver except the trigger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as an Christmas gift from my dad a couple years ago. He has always purchased Hitachi tools. It’s a great impact driver if the trigger works (obviously). I would say every 5th time I pull the trigger, the drill is either delayed or doesn’t work at all.
