We bought the set thinking we were really getting a great NAME BRAND (been around decades) that would suit out needs with animals. TRASH!!! COMPLETE TRASH and wasted time and money. We've had the machine less than 3 yrs and have had to put TWO... YES, TWO capacitors on it. Absolutely NO HELP from customer service with Maytag.... and a warranty??? For what?? It covered nothing and was just donated money because it sure didn't benefit us at all!!! DO NOT BUT THIS SET

False advertisement
DON'T BUY this washer thinking you can wash your big loads or your heavy loads. We bought it 6 months ago and have already had service out 3 times for it, and twice for the matching dryer. They sell you on the large capacity factor when in reality you can't put more than about 7 bath towels in at a time. They say don't put more than 35lbs of wet stuff in there. First of all how are we supposed to know what 35 WET pounds of clothes is and secondly - how the heck are we supposed to wash comforters...

JUNK!!
Out of less than one year of ownership we have had three major warranty calls, had the main control board replaced, the belt several times and a bunch of nylon gears and other parts that look like junk. Every time we called Maytag (terrible customer service) we would wait at least a week to get a service person out, then a week or two waiting for whirlpool to send the warranty parts to service company, then wait another week for them to come out!!!! Frustrated
Big cycles just get loud and can’t spin having to adjust the balance taking forever. The clothes never really move, how does it wash? Leaves residue consistently on clothing. I always separate light and dark and still leaves marks I can’t understand. Paid a lot for this should work. Went with maytag as to not have these issues and it’s the worst I’ve own. Help

Horrible Washer, save your money
I am so upset I wasted my money on this washer. I did a lot of research when buying a new washer and the reviews were good for this one and we have two husky’s so the pet filter seemed like a bonus. This washer is horrible, it takes forever to do a basic load, does not take any dog hair off of clothes, it actually makes it stick more, and worst of all it leaves detergent marks all over black clothes. I bought mine after a lot of research and have had it a little over a year. Liked the big tub, and have dogs so was hoping it would do ok.
