Somewhat disappointed
This machine and the matching electric dryer were purchased to replace a comparable Maytag set that survived approximately 13 years. Performance is ok, similar to the old set except for the following issues. Biggest gripe is that the machine sometimes cannot deal with a small load of towels (using TOWELS setting for two bath, two hand, four wash cloths) and it will not complete (final drain and spin) a cycle because it can’t balance the load. I have to pause, remove and hand wring the bath towel...

We bought this washing about 3 weeks ago. I have regretted that purchase from the first time I used it. It is very noisy and does NOT SPIN THE CLOTHS ENOUGH. Quiet and adjusts washing time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer fits a large load of laundry easily, and washes well. It washes fairly quietly. When I first used it I was confused cause once I pressed starting button for the 3 second countdown the washer started but I didn’t hear it, so I kept pressing the start button unnecessarily. I love that once load starts it senses the time needed to wash and adjusted the time accordingly.

Buy the Extended Warranty for This Lemon
Bought this model two years ago after having previously owned a Maytag washer and giving it to in-laws instead of moving it. THAT washer is STILL running strong! Has never worked since I got it
I’ve always bought Maytag appliances and have had great results with them. This one is a total lemon. I called for service when it was only a couple months old. I told the repair person it did not drain. 2 times out of 3x it will not fill with water - and I mean, no water will go into the tub at all, the cycle will sometimes run, sometimes not, so I go check when I think a load should be done and the panel either reads nothing, or END, but I have to check to see if the laundry is even wet. Not the quality I expected
I had the maytag Neptune until they finally gave out 22 yrs later. The clothes were always clean and came out almost dry! Then when I put them in the dryer it took like 10 mins most of the time to dry them. I have waited a year to write this review. This washer IS NOT like the last maytag. This washing machine is a joke; it doesn't have many options, the water is never at the right temperature, and the worst part is cleaning the filter—a task a woman can't manage on her own. The filter is inside the casing, so you have to lift the machine from the bottom just to reach it. Never again with this brand.

Bad spacing for the controls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the washer and dryer to be stacked. The washer is so low that it’s hard for me to get the clothes out of it. The dryer controls are too high for me to read. I like the quiet running, but it takes a long time to wash a load of laundry. The dryer sometimes needs to run a second time, but that may be because I can’t see the settings and have it set wrong for the load. Overall, I’m not terribly happy with the set.
