This unit has auto balancing technology but the balancing rods inside each corner of the unit located outside the tub but inside the outside shell in each corner become broken and a tech has to replace these. I bought because it’s Maytag and thought it was best and would last for years but... I bought the set in 2023, gave them away with explanation of problem in 2025. So disgusted with Maytag, it’s trash. Bought Speed Queen set that is very pricey but absolutely worth every single penny.

Worst Washer Ever
This washer is terrible. Save your time and look further. I have had less than 3 years and it has not worked properly since day 1. Noises of all kinds and gets off balance with most loads. Forget washing your blankets or throws the washer will jump halfway across the room and sound like it is coming out of the wall. Just save your money, don't buy this one.
