To whom it may concern, I purchased a MAAX Vellamo bathtub surround. Upon attempting to install, right and left panels would not secure to walls or back panel (which was already installed) due to being uneven/warped. Upon inspection much of the fiberglass was not shaved off from the factory causing this problem. I spent over 4 hours sanding trying to fit that panel in. poor craftmanship
I bought this shower base at the Harrisburg Lowes. Upon opening it at the jobsite I noticed that the fiberglass was thin at the nailing edges and had a couple cracks in it which wasn't a show stopper since the drywall and caulk will cover it. Another thing I noticed was that the shower base was very dusty and had shards of fiberglass sitting in it. Again no big deal I'll just clean it. lucky its intact i guess
bought to replace tub for elderly parents. packing was inadequate around the edges. there is an area inside that looks like someone took 400 grit sandpaper to the gelcoat, edges are damaged, and theres a huge glob of glue on the rear. looks like someone couldnt trim the edge flush either. luckily, i know how to repair fiberglass and gelcoat. pics are right out of the box. box doesnt specify sides dont come with it. it tells you that you can choose tiled or smooth wall. should say in big bold th...

A mess.
I had this showerbase installed a year ago. I bought the walls also and the wall was cracked plus it didn't fit properly and had to take it back and go with glue on walls and now i had to ditch the glass doors as they now wouldn't fit. This shower and wall system has been nothing but trouble. the walls don't fit properly so we have had to spend a HUGE amount of money as our contractors messed around with trying to get things to fit properly. Corners thin, cracked/holes
I had this installed approximately one (1) year ago. Last night I thought a piece of sunflower hull was stuck in the front corner near the outside of the drain. Great Tub
I purchased this tub and had it installed about 2 months ago and upon installation noticed a scrtach/chip marking on tub. Marking on tub didn't come from installers, had to come from manufacture or Lowe's..just letting u know to inspect your product thoroughly before installing..All in all the tub is Hreat and the wife Loves it!

POOR QUALITY
Ours broke down the side within a year of installation, now breaking in the middle also. It stains horribly and is impossible to clean the textured bottom. The sides also don’t line up even with professional installation. $500 down the drain and wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy

Extremely poor manufacturing
Like many other reviews, the wall and base do not line up. We had to grind some of the bottom wall edge off. Customer Service was a nightmare of being transferred back and forth between departments and "at least two weeks" to get replacement pieces. Amazing that this is still happening even after the company trolled these reviews. A simple trimming dimension adjustment at the factory would solve this problem.
