I was at wits end. I had purchased a gallon of paint. It came in a standard one gallon paint can. The trouble is, I had no idea how I could get into the can to access the paint. Sure, you can use a screwdriver but these exist

I felt a little silly ordering this when it got separated from my main order and came by itself but at the same time it’s just so handy to have. You can use a screwdriver to do the same thing but this is a little more foolproof, especially if you’re a little less dexterous and a little more fumbly, it’s nice to have tools made for specific tasks. Nice loop for grip and for hanging. And grab a few if you’re prone to losing them too.

WE did not buy any gallon size paints yet the attendant added an opener for 86 cents. WE should be rfeunded 86 cents.

Standard

Pretty standard paint can key. Fits on keychains, various types of clips, etc so it's always handy. Works better than a screwdriver; keeps the lid from getting screwed up and ruining the seal or creating sharp edges. It's not even a buck everyone who ever paints anything out of a can should have one.

Great tool. Inexpensive and does the job well. I'm able to open up my paints just fine. Pretty straight forward.
