4 ft. Flourescent/LED Light

Simple to install and works like a champ. I used two toggle bolts in the ceiling to anchor the base and then wired up the leads and the ground using three wire nuts and the supplied ground screw. I snapped the center cover in, test fit the bulbs and then put the acrylic cover on. Start to finish - 15 minutes. I used some 1850 lumen LED tubes and the light is excellent.

ballast out very quickly

I have this exact model and I think I probably bought it at Lowes, not sure exactly when, but certainly less than 2 years, probably less than 1 yr. The ballast has already died. Not a happy customer. Can I buy a replacement ballast?

Good Value

I installed these to replace some fairly ancient magnetic ballast shop lights in the basement. Installation was straightforward, and easy - though I do recommend having a helper to hold the fixture in place while you screw it in place. And of course always check and recheck the breaker when you are splicing in the wiring. I added some T8 led bulbs, and my partially finished basement rec room is now bright and welcoming. Easy to install

Looked at several lights at several different stores. Spoke with salesman at Lowes and he recommended this specific light. He advised me he had purchased this item and was very satisfied with the quality, the power of the light, and the price. I took his recommendation and would recommend this light also to other buyers. Bulbs out in a year

I purchased this light at Lowes and had it installed 10/10/20 by a handyman in the kitchen. Here it is October 1, 2021 and the tubes only slightly light up on the very ends of each tube. I called Lithonia Lighting for tech support and he said it was either the tubes or ballast. I expected the bulbs to last longer than that! So take your chances! Replacement tubes are not cheap.

An upgrade from my old light

Only negative is there's not a speck of documentation or instructions.I replaced a comparable legacy fixture in my laundry room so I installed using (2) 1/4" bolt toggle wings through the ceiling as was done by the builder 17 years ago.If not for an example to go by it would have been questionable if this would suffice given the weight and dimensions of the light.

Good Shop Light

Lithonia Lighting SB Wraparound Light

Purchased and installed this fixture to replace a 15yr old light of same size. I liked the fact that bolt holes lined up with existing ceiling holes after removing old unit. The connection wires were long enough to make connections easier but also thinner in guage. The ballast in this unit was also considerably smaller and lighter in weight which also made it easier to install. The light bulbs installed easily and the lens fit comfortably snug.
