Broke in 3 1/2 years!

We purchased this over the stove microwave and in less than 4 years it has broken. In FACT we purchased a whole LG suite of appliances and 3 of the 4 have had to be repaired. Now they want $349 as their basic service price to have someone come out and service the microwave. I can buy a better one for that price. I should not have to pay for anything. Their logo "LG" "life is good" motto stinks. Their customer service is terrible. I will never buy LG appliances again. Highly recommend that no one...

Does anyone read directions anymore

As I read the reviews it befuddles me that they say the clock goes off after 5 minutes, well it does in the energy saving mode but when it is regular mode the clock stays on 24-7.other than that it's a good microwave glad I didn't totally depend on some of these reviews

Do Not Accept An Open Box Under Any Circumstances

We ordered the microwave online, it said they had 3 in stock. We had to drive 2 hours to this Lowe's to pick it up. When they brought it out to us it was in an open box and the contents were all in disarray. I examined the exterior of the microwave and could find no defects. I could not find the template for hanging it. I went back to the appliance department and they searched their physical inventory for a new one in an unopened box. pur. 1/2022 broken 3 times already

I purchased this microwave a little over 2 years ago and have had to replace 1 part 2x and another 1x. The outside plastic casing keeps breaking. There are only 2 of us using it, and there are days we go without using it. So, for it to keep breaking is beyond me. I have never had a microwave break before, even when all my kids were home. I would not recommend this product to anyone! Plus, it isn't even the cheap one.

Fine Microwave

I bought this product five months ago on Black Friday and installed the week before Christmas. Points to consider.

This LG microwave boasts a finger and smudge resistance feature and I find this aspect to be disappointing. Research regarding this type of technology is greatly advised before purchase. The microwave shows fingerprints and smudges in abundance. However, the smudges and fingerprints are easily wiped away with a microfiber cloth so keep one handy. It’s a “downgrade” from our previous model. Our LG microwave had so many problems, but was under warranty. When it stopped working the last time, LG sent us a check to replace it.
