I’ve had this dishwasher for 2 years and 2 months, right outside the 2 year warranty. The circulation pump is now failing. Upon further research, seems like this issue is quite common that right after the 2 year mark, the pump goes. Customer service is completely useless, the only thing they’ll tell you is “you qualify for the flat rate repair” which cost $420, the price of the dishwasher itself. Had the dishwasher for 2 years and 2 months and the circulation pump is now fail, conveniently right outside the warranty window. Looking at reviews, this happens to so many people. You try and contact LG and they continue to give you generic responses saying they can have service technician to fix it for $420, basically the price of the thing. Worked great until it didn't

After four years, bearings in the pump failed because of a cheap gasket. The pump is built to be replaced, not repaired. And buying a $300 pump after only four years, knowing the new only will likely last four years makes this a disappointing purchase.

Horrible dishwasher for multiple reasons

There are several design flaws in this dishwasher. 1 - It breaks glasses on the top rack. The dishwasher is so rough on dishes that the top rack dents the inside of the door. Additionally, the rack designs on both the top & bottom are terrible for layout & spacing of dishes. They're awkward & don't fit dishes properly. Once we finally got this delivered and installed it we used it maybe 3-4x and we started getting error message. It said not draining. Called Lowes and they sent the guy out who installed it who said it was a faulty machine and needed to be replaced.
