I grew up with a LG refrigerator, and my dad has had the same one since 2009. I’ve owned this refrigerator model since 2023, and it has been trouble-free. I’m glad I made the right purchase.

Very satisfied

We chose this model for its counter depth features for our small kitchen remodel. The interior volume is larger than our previous regular depth single door model. The left door with no outside water dispenser allows greater interior door storage capacity while placing a cold water dispenser located interior wise with a flush access taking up no extra space. Ok. Could be better.

I’d give this a 3.5 rating if I could. The back of the refrigerator keeps freezing stuff. I have to be very mindful what I store back there. Temp is set at 37 degrees. Kind of afraid to raise it. The two smaller door shelves, in my opinion, should be arranged at the top, with the bigger shelves following. Can’t arrange them like that on my own because the slots don’t accommodate. Space is good, just gotta be good at organizing to maximize.

This refrigerator will NOT last! Pick any other brand. The freezer is faulty. Read all the other negative reviews to get honest opinions. They will say the same. The dang door won’t open at all, leaving your family without food access. But don’t worry if you call LG customer service. They will have you do the unpaid work of calling service technicians that won’t even service your fridge for $100’s of dollars because they aren’t local enough or they ain’t authorized to work on LG appliances. I bought this LG a month ago and it’s great. My son loves that you can tap and see inside. For a mom that can’t stand people to stand there with the doors open it’s a win for me lol. I will say the view is limited to only what is on that side and if you have a lot on the door you can’t see well inside to see what you have.
