Adequate, but suboptimal.

We were in a pinch, because our refrigerator suddenly failed without warning & therefore had to find something ASAP. Lowe's customer service is horrible

This is not about the product, but about the delivery and subsequent customer service calls I have had to make. Essentially, on the 3rd attempt at delivery, the delivery company caused damage to my walls, my floor, broke a sign that was hanging and scratched my banistar. They DID NOT tell me about the damage before leaving. I submitted a damage claim, received a case number and was told someone would reach out w/in 72 hours. Nope. Property was damaged, no resolution from Lowe’s.

The delivery team that was sent had a very difficult time getting this fridge into my house. I live on a second floor and they said it should have been a job for three people and only two were sent. Despite this, they continued to remove the doors and bring the fridge up the stairs damaging my walls as well as the fridge. Once in they put the doors back on. When the power goes off in the house, my compressor turns off and does not turn back on when the power is fixed. When I’m traveling, this is a real nuisance. Also, they want me to pull the refrigerator out to unplug and re-plug to start the compressor. This is a Poor warranty.

great value

I was happy to find a 25+ cu. ft. fridge for under $1600, I gave it 4 stars because there are a few issues that are minor. This LG fridge (French door/bottom freezer) has enough room in the fridge and freezer, the shelves on the door are roomy. I love the "Counter Depth Max", not longer sticks so far out from cabinets. I do not like that the shelves can only be adjusted to preset side supports. I cannot put anything tall (like my Brita pitcher) on any of the shelves, I have to put it on the door...

LG Has Improved

I was very hesitant to purchasing an LG after all of the bad reviews several years ago about how poor their products were. I then learned that LG took it seriously and improved the quality, so I took a chance. I purchased this LG fridge in June 2024 - two years later we have had zero issues. An okay product but one issue

When I open the right-hand door it hits against my pantry's corner so I have to have it pulled out a few inches farther than i would like. I did measure the space, and think this is more of a design flaw. My old Whirlpool (8 years old, also a French Door) did not do this. So I am disappointed.

Some things to know beforehand

I've only had this refrigerator for a week now, but these are my impressions (in no particular order). While I might seem overly critical I'd likely still purchase it again. Pros: - The refrigerator looks really good in my kitchen. I definitely appreciate not seeing fingerprints anymore. - There's a lot of storage space without the external water/ice dispenser.
