Customer service just plain sucks

The ice maker has never worked since purchase. Instead of sending someone to fix the icemaker, they send you the parts and want you to install them. I didn't purchase a $1700 refridgerator so I can be the technician that has to fix it. If this thing was several years old then I may choose to fix it myself. Not when the fridge is brand new.

We purchased model LRDCS2603S in June 2022. We were hesitant because we had an LG dishwasher that didn't last much more than 3 years and the extended warranty was a joke. Vibration Noise Drives me crazy

I've purchased two of these refrigerators and both have had problems. The first died at 5 years and two months after purchase - right after the warranty expired. We could not wait for repair issues, so we sent that one to a landfill and bought an identical one due to space issues in our kitchen. Classic design

Our LG refrigerator has worked flawlessly every since we installed it over a year ago. Our previous "new" refrigerator, an Amana model, was nothing but total grief and simply would not defrost sufficiently to prevent it from freezing the coils into a block of solid ice about twice a week in the summer. Great But

I love the amount of room it has. It's easy to find and reach things. I very much like the narrow little shelf on the bottom of the door, great for medications and things that otherwise easily get lost. The door will only open from the right, however, and because LG has not sent the required hardware to change the way it opens, Im really wishing we'd gotten the 3-door style. Sour taste about LG.

Don't buy this, and Don't buy from Lowes

Received delivery and installation 2/17/2026. Design: Refrigerator has 3 shelves with minimal adjustability. You will have to remove one of the shelves, or deal with one shelf height of 2-3/4", to place a 2-liter soda bottle or some typical pitchers on a shelf. Finally received our fridge from Lowes. First time around was a nightmare. They sold us a fridge that was in clearance and apparently oversold the item. We waited all day on the appointed delivery day and nothing. After waiting 3 hours in hold an employee at the Medford Lowe's finally picked up. Didnt make it thru the warranty

We bought this refrigerator 5 years ago. The compressor blew out at year 4.5. It was replaced under warranty a few months ago, but the new compressor sounds like it won't last long. This is a well known and litigated problem with these refrigerators. Out of warranty now. Won't be buying ANY LG product again. Buy at your own risk.

horrible refrigerator

i’ve had this refrigerator for less than five years and I’ve already had to have the compressor replaced. Now, even after having the compressor replaced, it does not get cold like it used to and food is going bad in my freezer. My ice is not working. Overall, I wish I’d never purchased this

Not Worth It- RUN

We bought in 2021 from Lowes. We have replaced 2 ice makers. 2025 the control board and compressor went out. Those were replaced under the 5 year warranty we purchased. 2026 the coolant leaked out of the compressor. The technician performed a dye test and said there was a leak in the shell and it was not worth fixing. The refrigerator only lasted 5 years. The technician said to stay away from LG Refrigerators.
