Great look - Poor Durability

The problem that I have had occur with these knobs is that the knob is fixed to the spindle/shaft by a single set screw through thin metal that wears loose and fails to retain the knob to the mechanism requiring full replacement. We come and go a lot and our doors are heavy (I guess?) so maybe if you want these for show and less use that could be ok for you. Otherwise dont waste your time and money on these.

What I liked best about this product was the way it was engineered, which made it very easy to install. Normally I have a lot of trouble lining up the connecting long screws on the inside part with the keyhole side. But with this, you slide in the keyhole side into the door, using a provided Allen wrench you actually remove the knob from the inside part before installing the inside plate on the door. A Quality Door Knob

We bought this along with a keypad lock, and it works exactly as expected. The Pismo Satin Nickel Exterior Keyed Entry Door Knob feels sturdy, well made, and secure. The satin nickel finish looks clean and modern, and it paired nicely with the rest of our hardware. Installation was simple, and overall it’s just a solid, reliable door knob that does its job well.

Tumbler stops working after about a year

I bought 3 of these in satin nickel - 1 for each of my exterior doors - along with the matching deadbolts for each door. Installation is as simple as any other door knob. Rekeying using the SmartKey system is also simple - just take your time with this, because one slight misalignment and it will not work, and you'll have basically ruined the knob and need a replacement. Smooth Operation and Stylish Satin Nickel Finish
