I read some negative reviews regarding this lock after I had already purchased it. However, I had little to no issues with the install and setup, so maybe some people didn't follow the directions? Look Elsewhere

With over 30 devices in my home connected to WIFI (to include) phones, TVs, cameras, laptops...etc. This is the only device that is "unable to connect" Support wants to reset the router, and contact the ISP. I think it's incredibly stupid to think ATT will have any idea how the Kwikset lock operates.

Great door lock solution

Bought this Smart Wi-Fi Keypad Electronic Deadbolt Lock for the home to allow select entry for care giver entry while in surgical recovery. The lock was easy to install. Had a problem connecting to Wi-Fi at first. The 1-800 customer support was very helpful. It works wonderfully now and it is one of the best home improvements anyone can make. I highly recommend! Weak performance

Keep saying it’s jam Battery don’t last long Will not let you sync with WiFi or Bluetooth once u remove battery pack and won’t stop unlocking and locking automatically Just save your money and time to much of a headache to keep trying to fix these random door jams

Trash do NOT buy this garbage

I purchased this lock in August of 2023. It quit working after three weeks and so they replaced it now it is October 2025. It’s quit working again well because there’s only a one year warranty unless you purchased an extended warranty that there’s nothing they can do. It’s an electrical matter. Loud and expensive

Utter garbage. I thought this was going to be as good or better than the Kwikset we had at the last house. It is LOUD when locking and unlocking, sounding like the motor is going to explode and any moment. Watch the videos people have posted, it's loud. In the years wen had a different kwikset code lock at our old house, we changed the batteries once. We are already on our second set of batteries and it has only been installed for 2 months. As expensive as this is, it is absolutle garbage.

This lock is really loud when actuating

When I first received this lock I was very impressed with the weight and feel of it. You can feel quality and this feels like it. And ease of installation and thinking of everything? I am so disappointed with this purchase. $200 spent on this piece of crap. I noticed our battery life was okay in the beginning, and then I got a notification from the app that the battery was at 20% and needed to be changed. This was after about a month. MEH ... OK functionality, bad battery life.

Purchased 2 this time, but own 4 Halo smart locks and ALL of them go through batteries like they're starving. 60% after 2 weeks with barely any use at all. All installed properly and very close to the WiFi router/connection.

Battery doesn't last long

The lock looks nice and works well, and the interface with the app is good. Easy to create a code for yourself and others, and lock/unlock through the app. It was easy to install and set up and re-key to our existing key. Two issues - First, the battery does not last long.
