Buyer Beware

I've made 2 different orders, at 2 different locations, & at 2 different times. both orders were "done" incorrectly. If I order a specific color option from your website, I expect to receive that color. Who even sends un-tinted cans in an order? it's not even like they had to physically get it tinted. it showed 2 cans left in lime, I ordered 2 cans. the app still says there are 2 available BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T ACTUALLY PICK THE ORDER CORRECTLY. that doesnt even scan as the same barcode! Description of the chalkboard paint and colors are VERY misleading!! when I ordered the chalkboard paint I was under the impression that I was getting the color that was shown on my phone which was Iron Frost. When it arrived I opened it up and mixed it up over and over again only to realize that I didn't get what I wanted. so I ordered another quart of a different color hoping maybe I just got a bad quart? I then realized that what I received was just to table base!

I Ordered this paint to do a wall in my son's room when I finally received it they only sent me the base. it was white and not only that I could not easily get ahold of any one to fix it. I had to go in store.

Worst paint EVER!!!!!

I am an artist; additionally, I work in restoration and home redesign!!!! I paint ALOT!!!!!! I use chalk paint for most of my restorations for durability, and I typically purchase a different brand. I thought I would give Kryon a try. I purchased 2 cans in colors that compliment each other!!! A WASTE OF MONEY. It’s like painting with tinted water!!! Don’t tell me to mix it good, or shake it!!!! Great color!

Love this color! (This is more my fault than the paint's, but it does drip fade if the fan isn't kept on in the bathroom. Seems to come off slightly over time with water in the air. So probably not the best type of paint to use in small bathrooms with bad ventilation. Great everywhere else!)

Terrible if using a brush, works with a sprayer

Would not buy this again. There's a reason why it's called "chalky finish." It's just a matte finish paint with a high price. Might as well buy regular interior paint in flat and save the money if you don't need to distress. This paint is very thin, and has terrible coverage. Does not distress like real chalk paint. Had used Valspar chalk brand paint before and it was decent, so I just went for it. I used a fancy chalk paint brush on a section of the piece first, and was so disappointed at how ...

Not Worth it.

Just a basic matt paint. No more matt than a regular flat paint but 4 times the price. Also, the color (Hermatite) that Lowes has advertised, is just the white paint that they mix the color when you pick up. I Ordered online, so I did not know this. If I did, I would have looked at other color choices.

Chalk paint

It’s not the best chalk paint, but it most certainly is not the worst. Cracked pepper is an excellent color choice. The paint itself is a little on the thin side. I did four coats and was happy with coverage. I top coated with poly because I wanted the added protection. Time will tell!

A bit more work but I like the paint

I was so disappointed that Valspar discontinued their chalk paint. I tried the Rustoleum chalk paint on my last project and it was horrible-it showed every brush stroke. Out of desperation (because I am impatient and did not want to order Annie Sloan online) I decided to give this a try. Besides, it could be tinted to any color I wanted so I viewed that as a plus.
