The locking system only works when the organizer containers remain stationary. If you have two organizers locked together, they are not designed to be carried using the handles. They must be carried flat (horizontally), which limits their portability. The dividers also do not sit flush against the inside of the case, allowing smaller parts to move between compartments and mix together.

Durable and Just the Right Size
You can buy parts organizers like this from a number of vendors, but this one has two advantages: it's a reasonable size (low enough to be stackable, not too wide) and reasonable color (a tasteful blue instead of eye-boiling reds and oranges). That probably sounds silly to care about, but I use these in settings other than the workshop.
