The shelves are reasonably fine once together, but the included wrench tool didn’t fit the bolts and the plastic cap pieces also didn’t fit at all. As expensive as the shelves are compared to others available elsewhere, it’s ridiculous.

Pleasantly Satisfied

Super easy build! I was pleasantly surprised on how simple is was to follow the instructions and how smoothly they went together. Sturdy and clean look once assembled. Highly recommend this product. Money well spent!

Solid construction but need two to three people

The manual stated it takes about 20 minutes to complete(minus unboxing) but that is completely inaccurate. It took about 2.5 hours to assemble. The most difficult part was securing the bottom shelf because you need leverage and you will need an additional one to two people to assist doing this. How sturdy the shelves were. They were well worth the cost, and they were easy to install.

Generally well made and relatively easy to assemble. PROs- frame is sturdy and fairly easy to assemble using the tools provided with unit. powered coated finish is good quality and resists scratching. hardware and instructions are straight-forward. adjustable height shelving is convenient to accommodate different sized items. available in a few different sized units to fit dimensions of your specific needs. Great shelves

Tl;Dr: it's great I almost didn't buy this unit based on some of the reviews. Most of the bad ones are hogwash so use this one to make your decision. Usecase: I have a two car garage which I mostly use as a workshop. I need storage for boxes, bins, and ramps/jacks. I bought the 84" version which weighs 160lbs. Well made

worked great for my storage needs. went together fairly easily and felt heavy duty as stated. Only reason for 4 stars were the plastic end caps are cheaply made and do not hold or snap into ends well.

Cheesy.

I have the welded together version with the one piece wire shelf from another manufacturer. I needed some 48 inch beams to fit my space so I bought the 48 inch version from Kobalt. the Kobalt version is a bolt together with folding shelves. Thinner metal, plastic parts and just overall lower quality. I can't recommend the 48 inch version.

Stay Away Not well built, hard to put together…

1. nightmare to put together 2. The box does say bolted in a few colored boxes on the outside of the box, but the photos only show the most common way to assemble racking like this which is simple slip together. 3. You would think bolted would mean more sturdy, it does not, this specific model seems very flimsy after fully put together. 3. It says 20 minutes to put together.
