Hassle free Lifetime Warranty- NOT so much.

I bought this ratchet a couple years ago and the pin broke during use. Brought it back to the store, customer service told me to find the same one with part #337304, nobody has it. They told me to google Kobalt to get the phone number maybe they can help you. Did that waiting for a reply. Still a hassle. Lesson learned. Stay clear of Kobalt tools

Warranty not honored

I purchased this ratchet about 1.5 - 2 years ago and recently the screw in the swivel backed out and one side of the swivel bent during use. Conveniently non of the local stores have this exact ratchet in stock and talking to Kobalt customer service a receipt is required to initiate a warranty claim. Not exactly what I would call a hassle free Life Time warranty, and I will not be purchasing Kobalt in the future

I purchased 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" inch breaker bars to reduce the chance of damaging my expensive ratchets. This 1/2" drive flex head ratchet cost less than other brands. When walking into Lowes I wanted a 1/2" drive flex head ratchet and I had two options, the Craftsman and Kobalt brands. I do like Craftsman, especially the gun metal chrome but the ratchet price was almost double the price of kobalt , both made in Taiwan, 90 tooth , lifetime warranty so I went with Kobalt and it's been a great tool for half the price of Craftsman so I'm satisfied this far and I can afford to buy another for the price of the others. Must Have Got A Lemon

Thrilled to purchase this wrench about 6 months ago. Price was great, and everything else about it seemed perfect. Used just a few times for light duty car repairs. Nice Ratchet

Its a nice ratchet with a semi locking flex head. The head is thicker than most ratchets but seams strong. Normal 90 tooth count. The handle feels nice sligtly shorter than competitors. Overall a nice addition to the tool box.
