We got this new mower. It cuts the grass good. Grass gets suck when the grass is wet.

It's heavy for a push mower.
The mower is powerful, but it is also heavier than the corded mower I'm used to. This mower also dies at several points while mowing. The loss of power happens for no discernable reason and I will be returning it for that reason

A cut above
I was slightly worried that this mower wasn’t going to cut it, since it’s a push mower rather than a walk mower. Fortunately, that turned out not to be the case. The wheels on this mower are large and have very little rolling resistance, plus the mower itself is so light that it doesn’t present an issue at all. I’m on about 1/2 an acre, and once I got the grass under control, I did my entire yard on less than one full charge. About 2/3 according to the battery indicator.

Great...then Massively Disappointing
Owned the mower for 7 years. Took great care of it. Garaged it. Kept it clean. Two batteries still going strong when a circuit board failed. Kobalt offers little to no service or parts, so you're left to flounder and look for help on your own. Local service tech said possible to fix, but expensive. Also heard slight grinding when he did briefly get the blade to turn. So, that's not what some here called "long lasting". Not in my opinion. 80 volt push mower
Have several Kobalt products and almost all have worked great. Lowes has great service and warranty coverage. Owned a few weeks and mower works great owned a 2x 24 volt one before that worked decent but this haas quite a bit more power. They are so light I just bought the push one.

Powerful, long-lasting charge, heavy
It has a lot of power and we were able to cut both front and back lawns on one charge for the first time. The safety key is in the battery compartment instead of on the handle, which is a little odd and creates an extra step after mowing if you want to remove it. It is very heavy and a little harder to maneuver than our previous mower, but hopefully that means it is well made. Having a battery meter on the handle is convenient. Purchased this mower and battery package back in January 2023 as delivered to my local Lowe's for pickup. Mower works great to date and I highly recommend. However, the 80V battery became defective on me on 8/9/2025 as it would no longer charge and red light would flash when placed in charger, and even when cool.
