I bought this back in December 2025. Every time I have used it the valve on the bottom leaks air. Is that normal or do I have a bad valve

Long awaited review

I've had this unit for about 6 years now, and have to say, I've had zero issues. Is it loud, yes. It's an air compressor. If you want a quite one, buy one that is marketed for that. I've used it for many home and auto projects. Pneumatic impact wrenches, nail guns, HVLP spraying, and just filling tires. I built a sound deadening box with an air vent so that I can have constant air in my garage, and it keeps up just fine.

bought the 1st one, worked fine for about a year, then all of a sudden would not turn on, bought a second one exact model and did the same thing, buy another brand

I've had my compressor for 2-3 years now. I don't use it often, however when I go to use it...it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. It has this electrical current sound and doesn't do anything. I tried taking it back for warranty but I could not find my receipt. My small compressor from Harbor Freight has lasted a lot longer than this.

Stopped working after 5 uses

Had the Kobalt 8 Gal compressor for about five years. It worked fine for blowing out my irrigation system once per year. It stopped working this year. Tank fills but tool tank will not if a hose is plugged in.
