Multiple batteries need multiple chargers.

A two battery pack was on sale as well with this charger. It was a birthday gift that was much needed for a project coming up. The value was the most important factor. Even though these have been needed the cost was what kept us from splurging. This was a great deal for us, especially since the batteries were on sale also.

Doesn't Charge

Put 4 batteries on to charge overnight, and by morning, not a single one was charged. Yes, it was plugged in, and the charging light was flashing, but the batteries were just as dead 12 hours later as they were when they got put on the charge.

Why even make such a thing?

I have 4 batteries, I want to charge 4 batteries at the same time. Dewalt has one that does this, why even make one that only does sequential? This simply keeps you from having to swap batteries when one is charged. Not at all worth the price. For this price, it should at least charge one in each bank at the same time. I'd be better off buying two independent chargers for the same price and manually swapping them. My charging would be done in half the time. This one is going back. Please...

Inverter unfriendly.

So the good thing is it charges 4 batteries consecutively and unlike Ryobi's supercharger it has an AC outlet as well (so you don't need to worry about "using up" an outlet with this one). Downsides now... Unlike the Ryobi supercharger it only charges 4 instead of 6, the amp draw is way higher than the Ryobi brand (and for me this is a huge factor as I tend to rely upon inverters through my DC outlets in my van to charge my batteries... the amp draw is way to high to function with most inverters...

Worth the buy

Full disclosure, I got this charger for free and had my doubts about it. I had multiple single chargers already set up and didn't think I would need this. I was wrong and now have done away with all but one single charger and almost exclusively use this 4 port charger. Many people see the fact that it charges one battery at a time as a drawback, whereas I now see it as a huge benefit. After a long day of working I can throw four batteries on it over night and not have to worry about the amp draw...

Keeps things tidy if you have 4 batteries

This product came as part of a bundle with a lawnmower, blower, string trimmer, and hedge clippers. The mower came with 2 batteries and a 2-battery charger, and the blower and trimmer each came with 1 battery and a 1-battery charger. So there really was no need for the bundle to include this item. I do use it as it's a bit tidier in the garage, but it will only charge 1 battery at a time, so I keep the other ones around if I ever need to charge multiple batteries at the same time. Oversized Single Battery Charger

The charging station does work but it does NOT charge multiple batteries at once. I failed to notice this on the description and bought it with the impression that I can charge 2 or more batteries at once. They charge in order from left to right. This isn't worth it to me as I need to charge multiple batteries when working on a large project. It also isn't a "fast" charger with my 4 aH batteries.
