Only have used it twice since I bought it a month ago and it has a vibration while cutting. Vibration is bad enough that it makes the kerf wider and not straight which causes the board to have to be recut.
A must have
This is by far the best compound miter saw I have ever had and I have had a few. It is smooth and has never bogged down at all. It was set up to and needed no adjustments. Zero and 45s were exactly on. I use this saw every day and absolutely love it.

Cordless and built very well.
I haven't used it but I will in the future. I did put a battery on it to see if it runs and it did. This is my 5 purchase for a dual bevel slidindg compound miter saw. The others I returned them because of how it was build. I think this was designed and built better. I hope it does good in the future.

First, buy this only if you are invested in mostly all the other Kobalt tools. Overall its be great. I use the 6 or 8 Amp hr batteries. I can go days making cuts with little to not change in battery power. I use a digital angle finder to return the blade angle to 90. It’s a bit more accurate. I have it hooked up to my Kobalt 24v shop vac for dust collection and it works AWESOME. Even my home vacuum works fine too. I swapped the blade out for Spyder fine/finish cut blade for all my woo...

Better than them all, hands down. I use the Milwaukee everyday at work. My new Kobalt is smoother, and has TWO INCHES of extra cut depth. Milwaukee was the lightest, but not anymore. I really wanna like the Kobalt miter saw. I have the XTR drill and driver, circular saw and many other power tools. They are great. I use them frequently and they always perform. The miter saws, well I wanna like them, but not one has a straight fence. I had a 10” and the fence was not straight. Mighty little saw
I purchased this as in impulse to cut small pieces. I liked the portability of it as it is very light. I was surprised to find that I do most of my cross cuts and miter cuts with this saw and not my large saw that I have to pull out on the stand and set up. This is so easy to grab and place on a flat surface and start cutting. The battery life is phenomenal as well.
