Very subpar quality

I got this set on sale for a third of the everyday price, but even at this price point, I'm debating on if these are worth the price. It's a big set, so you have pretty much every size you'll ever need, but the quality is very subpar. I have 32 sockets that are absolutely unacceptable quality just by looking at them with the naked eye. That's 15% of the set! There are sockets that have the chrome missing through most of the inside, and ones that have lines and cracks where the metal was not fuse...

I bought these at $99 less 5% Lowe's Pro. I'm a general contractor, not really an auto mechanic but will dabble or tackle something if needed. I like having good tools when I need them. Pretty Good Kit Overall , Would Buy Again

All in all its a good comprehensive kit for the price. All 6 point and not one socket missing between 4.5 mm and 36 mm and 5/32 and 1 1/2" The biggest issue I had was that it is such a complete kit I had trouble finding a way to organize them. Most organizers do not offer the amount of slots needed , I ended up finding an stl file to 3d print that prints socket holders and uses 3/8" dowel rod to secure them all together for the 3/8"s and 1/2" and I just went to harbor freight for the cheap 1/4...

Kobalt 212-piece Socket Set - Item # 4103167

The Kobalt brand used to mean quality, that is no longer the case. This socket set has the poorest quality sockets that I have ever purchased. The overall quality is lacking, from cracks in the material, metal burrs on the sockets, to barely visible laser etching of the socket size this set is not Kobalt quality. Almost perfect set

Set has everything you’d ever need except the sockets they left out. Everything in the kit comes in deep and shallow well EXCEPT they give you 29mm, 30mm, 32mm, and 36mm in 1/2 drive shallow well but not deep well? Quality control is lacking.

Not a bad deal for the $150 I paid for the set. I would have returned if I paid full price. The finish on the smaller sockets is not great. I can catch the chrome finish with my fingernail, and has some sort of chemical spots that may buff out. Out of the whole set, I'm missing a 1/4-in shallow 5mm, I got 2 4mm. Also the laser etched size markings are a little weak, especially on the sizes below 10mm, very hard to see without reading glasses. It really does have a great range of sizes included, ...

Etched

While I do believe these were worth it at the Christmas price of 99, there are some cons worth considering. These are laser etched and have no size stamping. Still new, these are hard to read. And time will only wear them away and make the situation worse. Primarily I am keeping them for the extra large sizes which will see limited use where the etching will not become an issue.

Unreal value at 99$

Needed a 1/2 set this was on sale for 99 bucks unreal value. Came well organized too not just a bag full of lose sockets. All labeled and separated

Count sockets before organizing.

Great product only thing is when I received Oder some sockets were missing but after an hour of organizing I was not gonna send it back because of a few sockets.
