What Customers Are Saying
The cooktop offers powerful and versatile cooking performance, with a standout large center burner for quick boiling and simmering. Users praise the even heat distribution, easy cleaning, and sturdy construction. However, some find it difficult to achieve a true low simmer on all burners, and the front burner proximity to the control knobs can be inconvenient. Additionally, a few users note the cooktop takes longer to boil water compared to previous electric models. Overall, the cooktop provides a good balance of features and functionality, though some adjustments may be needed to maximize its capabilities.

We went to store man told us it would be delivered because they did not have one. When we got home noticed receipt said picked up in store. Spent 45 minutes on phone fixing finally got it delivered.
Great looks but could have made it more easier to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The surface is kinda rough and difficult to clean (especially the front slab where the knobs are). Feels high quality but is hard to clean and gets finger stains very easily. Even the grates are super rough and tears whatever i use to clean it and the cleaning cloth/paper leaves residue on the grates. Overall love the quality if the burner and the look in the kitchen.

Very poor design
We paid for an upgraded kitchen package in our new home and this is the cooktop that was included. What a disappointment. 1. The grates are too high and as another reviewer mentioned 'you waste too much energy to get the pan to heat up adequately. 2. It is physically impossible to cook with two medium pans on the front two burners. They get in each other's way.

Needs a full redesign.
This cooktop was included in our 'gourmet kitchen package' upgrade when we chose to build with Pulte Homes. While this unit has 5 burners, I feel like I have been reduced to using just the center one, as the layout is too small to accommodate more than 2 tiny pots on each side, as even a regular size vessel on either front burner will extend well over the front of the controls just to be centered over the burner. Making matters worse, the writing for the controls is so faint that they blend in ...

Decent cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave 4 stars but would say it's more like 3.5 stars. It's a nice-looking cooktop and the cooktop functions well (see photo of mine). So far (5 months in), the cooktop burners have all lit right up each and every time. I particularly like the center burner (see photo), which is like a booster burner when, oddly enough, you put the knob in the 'middle' position. It causes a nice gust of flames from both the edges, but also straight up the mid...

Very little space for pans and grills
We got it with our new house. Builder didn't give us a choice. The knobs take too much space. There is no way to put a double flat grill. Any 12" pan won't fit on the front burners without covering the knobs. I want to replace it with and induction top, but now I have to change the very expensive counter top.

Don’t buy!
This is one of the worst for cleaning. First, the stainless doesn’t shine well. It has a rough surface that leaves streaks. Secondly, all the grates connect so you have to remove them all to get to the center or right side to clean up any spills. Not a quick job. The print on the controls is nearly impossible to see. I have to use my phone flashlight. Also, the knobs are so close to the flame, I have to use a pot holder to adjust or turn them off. I was so excited for our kitchen remodel so that...

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Kitchen Aid appliances for the last 6 years and for the most part has been very satisfied with the products ranging from gas cooktop, wall oven and microwave, dishwasher, ventilation hood. The only exception is with the refrigerator. I had to purchase extended warranty service for the unit I had as I require continuous repairs every 3 to 4 months ranging from compressor issue, ice maker issue, water dispenser issue, door issue...

Cooking with gas is so much better than electric
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an earlier model of the 36" KitchenAid cooktop several years ago in a different home. I enjoy this one just as much, but just like the older one, this new one has a problem with one of the burners. I haven't been able to use the little burner (upper left). Though the igniter tries to light it and I can smell the gas, the flame will not light. I haven't had the cooktop long enough to investigate the problem. I did buy an extended warranty ...

Best Cooktop I have ever used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop has just the right burner size. Its settings are perfect for any type of cooking. It’s settings are perfect for any type of cooking. I make a lot of things that require simmering for a long periods of time and has a perfect burner for that recipe requirement. Not only is this cooktop beautiful to look at. It is easy to clean up after you’re done cooking.
