Nice but fragile

Bought 2 of these yesterday to swap out a pair of floods that kept shorting out. Replacement was simple and straightforward. Checked them out last night and they looked perfect. Almost made me want to swap out the other 6 floods, but they still work. Today, after less than 24 hours since installation, I was cutting my grass and barely nudged the one flood. Excellent quality

I recently installed these along with the Kichler 5 watt (40 equivalent) around the exterior of my home. Using these 3 watt lights on the corners for up-lighting my trees and shrubs, along with the 5 watt lights to up light the face of the home. Excellent quality and really easy to install. I used the Kichler 0.6875-in 16-Gauge Landscape Lighting Cable Connectors instead of the pre designed connectors that come standard with these lights. Not your typical Kichler

There were a number of issues that came up during installation. When installing to the stake, you’ll need to move the wire along about every half turn, otherwise your wire will twist up like in the photo below and install before hammering into the ground and do so carefully with the cover off. Also, two out of six fixtures had a sticker on the glass part of the cover that could not be removed. Very nice fixture - could use better connectors.

This fixture is quality construction and seems to be quite durable. The light is rather bright. The only thing I would improve would be to lengthen the prongs on the connector to the low voltage wire. You really, really have to squeeze the parts together to puncture the wire's insulation to make contact with the wire. Simply twisting the connector as shown in the directions is not enough pressure. Quality product

As a contractor, I have to be aware of details such as color of light, beam spread, lumens, and sturdiness of the fixtures we install. With these factors in mind, I have consistently chosen Kichler 150 up-lights since 2018 and I have not been disappointed. These put out a very nice light and we have had no callbacks for defects, yet.

Great lights

Just replaced all my landscape lighting with these lights. They have a great look and do a perfect job of lighting the areas we want to highlight. The LEDs are saving us a lot of money plus I was able to replace my broken transformer with a smaller one because the wattage draw is so much lower.

Not working at all.

Bought these to replace a couple of incandescent lights I had. One quit and doesn’t light up at all, the other one is lit, but it’s a real dimbulb; kind of flashes and doesn’t illuminate. It lit up at first, then went into that mode. Going back to incandescent type.

Easy Set Up - Solid Construction

This light was easy to set up and includes everything you need (light bulb & wire connector). It seems to be well constructed and looks nice. Light bulb produces a nice warm light, probably 2700k - 3000k and is not to bright but still looks good on our two story home.

EXCELLENT VALUE

Had to buy approx 40 plus lights for new construction home to do the front and back landscape project... I compared a lot of lights and dollar for dollar best value out there... However a few of the boxes were missing the INCLUDED BULBS other than that... look great lottos light

Great flood lights

Great flood lights. Easy to assemble and they make house look great at night. I used both mix 5-watt and 3-watt ones to control the brightness (depending on the distance from the house).
