We are redecorating and I found this light while searching many sites. I was drawn to the X pattern since one of our new furniture pieces has this pattern. Cool light - instructions are terrible
We love this light but the instructions were terrible. I have installed over 100 fixtures in my life so I was able to get this figured out, but the instructions are just bad. After you get the light up and mounted, to install the "shade" and glass - get a helper and install the down rod at the bottom of the fixture, then put the glass under the shade, with the feet of the shade closest to the floor; then lift as one piece and have your helper guide the glass through the down rod hole and then in...

Not Terribly Difficult
Like works as stated, but a little tough to get it level. The decorative tube on the top had play in it so that it could be off center. It took some playing with it to get it right. A dimmer switch with LEDs worked fine, and the wires were more than long enough, but the ground was kind of fragile; I nearly broke it trying to fish it up through the top tube into the box. Great light, exceptional customer service
We've has this light about our kitchen table for over a year. It looks great, works every time I flick the switch and my wife loves it. After I broke the glass by accidentally putting my head through it I contacted the company to buy a replacement. Within 24 hours they had responded and sent it off...at no charge to us. Love these pendants. Definitely made a nice change for our kitchen. The chain pole combination is an added bonus to the look. Very easy to put up. Tip...40 watt bulbs provide enough light. Also use daylight bulb as opposed to soft white to get the true white appearance.

Functional and chic!
If I could give it a rating higher than a 5, I would! I love this pendant! I had a master electrician install it and it took him under an hour to remove the old ceiling fan and put the new fixture up. As a reference, I had it installed in the living room area of my town home. My ceiling height is 10 feet and I had the rod go down one foot.
Good value but inside shade is paper.
I gave this light 4 out of 5 stars because I'm not sure I would have bought it knowing the shade insert was paper. Once I got it up, it looked pretty good and have gotten plenty of positive compliments on it. It was a bit difficult to hang alone so I would definately suggest having another pair of hands.

Good update Fixture
Needed a fixture above the kitchen table and this seemed to work out well. My son put it up for me with no trouble at all. I like fissures where it is easy to change the bulbs by reaching under instead of fixtures where my hand cannot easily reach.,
