Shades just randomly crack
These lights are beautiful, but buyer beware!!!! I was sitting in my living room when I heard a LOUD pop. These lights are dangerous. Wish I had read the reviews. I notice that Kichler keeps responding to others about reaching out to them. Well, don’t bother, they couldn’t have cared less. I don’t have my receipt, so they don’t care. Glass shattered in the middle of the night
My old pendant lights over my kitchen island were really difficult to clean. I was not able to remove the glass and the bottom edge had a rim that accumulated dirt, dust, bugs and grease. We bought these Annabeth Black Traditional lights and I was happy with the look. We installed them and the diffusion of the light was not really acceptable but.... Dangerous Product - Do Not Buy
I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this light. Like so many others, the glass shattered shortly after installation, damaging my new floors where it fell. Thankfully, I was standing about a foot away from having it fall on my head, which likely would have caused serious injury. Looking at the top piece that was left of the shade, it appears that the glass is too thin to support its own weight. An Absolute HAZZARD!!!!!
Do not purchase! Lowe’s - they need to be pulled from the shelves for exploding glass. We had one explode and thought it was a fluke. The second one exploded 36 hours later as we were eating!! I am extremely disappointed in the quality!!! After cleaning up glass over my entire new kitchen I got online to see if anyone else has had this issue. Nice light, not exactly "mini"
I have many Kichler lights in my house and in general, I think they are good quality for the price point. The Annabeth pendant light is a nice light and easy to install. All the parts were of good quality, with the exception of the glass globe. The edges of the glass are rough and it's bottom edge is uneven (as seen in photos). Easy installation bigger than I thought
When I saw the item listed as a mini pendant light, I was thinking it would be pretty small but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that this is a pretty good size as seen in my photos. The black finish is flawless and will go with any decor and use an Edison style light bulb for a Farmhouse vibe. Brakes frequently
We have 3 of these hanging above our kitchen island, first day they were installed hours later, the glass just broke and shattered. About a week later I heard another boom and come out to see that another one had shattered and now today I took one down to clean it and then put it back up and an hour later that one has now shattered too and they do not offer a replacement for the glass.
