Beautiful replacement for builder grade lighting
We purchased these in all 3 sizes available. The 20.5 inch was hung over our dining room table and replaced a builders grade chandelier. The 16 inch was hung in kitchen to replace the basic builder grade flush mount light. And we purchased 3 of the 9.88 inch ones. One went over the kitchen sink, using the chain to hang it. The first 20.47 inch one I bought had to be returned as one of the 5 arms was not working. We tested only one of the arms prior to complete installation to check power, but should have checked all 5, I guess. Returned that one to order another. So disappointed!
I've been looking for a new fixture for our living room for a year. Saw this one and fell in love. Installed it and thought it was perfect. 3 days later noticed one of the bulbs was a little crooked so I took the bulb out. The part that was holding the bulb cracked and broke. Now I can no longer screw in a bulb. This happened to 2 out of the 5 bulb holders. They are made of plastic! Now I'm going to have to uninstall the fixture and return it to the store. Beautiful but blinding
Fixture is beautiful until you turn on the light. The bulbs are blinding and I saw spots for an hour. I purchased 40 watt frosted bulbs and have it on a dimmer and have the light hung at the recommended 30 inches above the table. If I dim enough so the lights aren't blaring then it's like a night light. I went back to Lowes and found out that all the bulbs in the display lights are 10 watt for that reason. Doing some re-decorating and replaced our old entryway fixture with this beauty. I absolutely love it! I used the clear bulbs, and we already had a dimmer installed on the light switch which makes it really versatile. We only used one link of chain so it wouldn't hang too low, but it comes with a lot of extra chain and wire if you need it. Fortunately this unit was complete. When time came to install, I found the box was already opened. The parts were put in the box hap-haphazardly, partially assembled. Obviously a returned product.
