What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this faucet. Many praise its sleek, modern design and brushed nickel finish as elegant and stylish. However, nearly as many report significant frustration with poor water flow and weak pressure, often caused by a restrictive flow limiter in the supply hoses that some remove with tools. Several note the brushed nickel finish shows water spots and fingerprints easily. Most find installation straightforward, though some encounter misaligned handles or clogged aerators. Despite mixed experiences, the aesthetic appeal resonates strongly with many customers.

Love the style and easy cleaning. However, there must have been a large particle from my well and now is causing the water to split when turned on. Any idea how to remove filter at faucet end once the screw is removed?

Low Water Pressure - remove pink restrictor
Like so many others complaining about the water flow, we just dealt with it and thought it was our problem. I called Kohler and followed the aerator clean out/removal. There is no tool, you can pull it out straight with tweezers or needle nose pliers but the plastic fins will break. You will not gain access to the spout but in my case the 2 screens behind the aerator were bent. Removing them didn't help. The flow restrictor is in the hose of the spout that connects to the tee assembly. Remove it...

Believe the negative reviews. I wanted to like it!
So I was like you. Reading these reviews. Had to install two bathrooms worth of faucets and picked up the Maxton. Great looking faucet, love the look and clean lines but that is about where the fun ends. First little issue was installation. The handles were not aligned correctly when the bases were aligned to the sink. The hot handle was not parallel. I loosened the two screws under the faucet and was able to make it better. This should not be an issue out of the box. I installed the faucet ac...

Five stars only if you remove the flow restrictor
Ok, I love this faucet so much I have them in all my bathrooms. However, you MUST remove the flow restrictor before installation (or after if you're fixing a poorly-fllowing faucet). Don't install it with the restrictor in place, you'll be frustrated at how lousy the flow is. If you're installing, before you connect the T connector to the center house for the fauce pull out the pink restrictor from the end of the hose with needle-nose pliers. If you've already installed it, press the white ...

Easily clogged, Kohler support slow
Bought two of these for a bathroom remodel. They install easily and look and feel great. Had nearly no flow out of the cold side on one sink and the hot side on the other. Small - and I do mean small - construction debris (sawdust) had gotten in the lines when these were hooked up. Problem 1: There is no screen anywhere you can clean. The guts (cartridge) of the faucet can easily get clogged and there is no way to fix that. You need to disassemble the faucet and replace the cartridge. Pro...

Fixing the slow flow
I only rate this as one star in the hope to catch people looking at the slow flow problem and shown the easy fix. I had a slow flow problem until a quick no cost fix. Here’s what to do : Before connecting the spouts clear supply hose to the black three way connector ( the one that connects the black hoses from the faucet controls to the clear hose leading to the spout) Take a look inside the end of the hose. There is a light pink water restrictor cap with a round black o-ring inside of it. Take...
looks sharp and fancy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to change my bathroom sink faucet for a while now but I just can't find one that will fit into my liking. I am so glad I found this one because this made my bathroom sink looks fancy and sharp. Me and my husband installed this and it was very easy to install, of course with the help of installation guide that comes in the package. The package includes screw, hoses/tubes along with the faucets. I love the vibrant brushed nic...

Poor water pressure. Cheap internal components. Poor finish.
I installed three of these faucets recently to match other Kohler bathroom accessories and was immediately disappointed. Certainly these are quite attractive and elegant faucets with seemingly solid spout and handles. However, the pressure is dismal resulting in an unsatisfying and arguably unusable water stream; even after opening both valves fully. Also, the provided supply hoses appear to be made out of stiff plastic and are prone to kinks when bending during installation; once kinked the ...

Big disappointment
I purchased 2 of these for a remodel. I liked the look and trust the Kohler brand. Big disappointment! I wish I had read the reviews before buying. The water flow is poor and the stream is distorted where it comes out of the stream breaker. The solution proposed by others is to remove the water restrictor, but I have found this hard to do as I cannot get the connector off once installed. I am afraid I may break something by pressing too hard. I also tried to remove the stream breaker using n...

Would not recommend
Luckily I know how to install sinks or I would be very mad. My wife and I were really excited to top our new $900 vanity off with this great looking faucet. After I installed and perfectly aligned the handles I proceeded to turn the water on. The water came out beautifully at first and then 2 seconds later the stream became turbulent and split into two streams, one on each side of the faucet. Thinking the flow needed to be turned up I got underneath and went to adjust the valve and realized it w...
