Thick texture with great covered damaged wood

The texture is thick, so it covered the damaged area really well and made the surface look much more even. I have used this on our covered concrete patio for years. I prep (power wash) as directed and it still wears off in a short period of time. The last 2 years prior to this year I still used it and realized it was only lasting a few months, even with 2 coats. I switched this year to another brand because, 1) I don't want to paint every 6m-1yr, 2) I think the paint is not as good of quality and 3) it is getting way to expensive to keep repainting with a product that should last much longer.
