I purchased a new John Deere Z325E 54-inch ZTrak from Lowe’s on July 1, 2026, for $3,899 before tax. Within weeks of purchasing this mower, the deck belt completely shredded and delaminated, with the internal cords separating from the belt. Breaks belts often.

I bought mine in 2024 ar lowes. It breaks belts often. After the second time, I replaced the pulleys, bought at the local john deere dealer. One of the factory pulleys had burr on the lip. One of the replacement pulleys had metal burrs on it. I had to exchange the new one for another one. Once again, it broke another belt. Lowe's never has the belts in stock or the tune up kits. Ordering and Delivery

I have no problems with purchasing items from Lowes. What I have a problem with is when you are having items delivered, and the sales people in the store tell you that you will receive a phone call the day before letting you know the time frame of the delivery, and you do not receive one. I called asking as this was being delivered to another location and the store could not give me a time at all. I didn't have any clue as to when they would arrive until the following morning. I previously owned a John Deere Z425 zero turn mower with a 48" cutting deck. I have now upgraded to the Z325E 54" deck mower. It has excellent performance 24HP V twin engine has plenty of power. The hydro-static controls seem to be much quicker than my previous mower which provides efficient cutting capabilities, while significantly reducing my mowing time. Extremely happy with my purchase.

The new John Deere riding mower has the lawn looking trim. Lowe's made ordering and scheduling delivery easy. The delivery price was super reasonable and once we added gas to the tank, it drives smoothly.

After delivery would not start. Had to order another, then a mechanic found a blown fuse in a new mower and it started. Mower leaves wheel ruts from deck wheel. Not happy with delivery or operation.

Product did not work on arrival.

Delivery came as wrong model, driver went back to store and brought the correct model. That product would not start. We checked fuel, battery, and a few other things it still would not start. An employee came out to try and start it, but it would not start. Was surprised to realize it had not been started at the store prior to delivery.

Wrong sized mower delivered.

Ordered the 54 inch deck March 22nd, after a delayed delivery I finally received it on April 11th only to have a 48 inch variety delivered... at this point I'm over Lowes. I called to see if they'd just give me the difference in price between the two back, but was informed that I'd had to return the current mower and exchange for the right size. I can't go another three weeks without a mower so I jist kept the 48 inch. It is honestly ridiculous. Don't rely on their delivery.

Well known brand

We purchased this mower after looking at several other makes and models. It had the features we wanted for our 1 acre lot and mowing needs. Lowe’s delivery was reasonable and timely

Great Mower

This mower is awesome! The only reason I gave it 4 stars, no fault of Lowes, it is shipped with the instruction manual in the seat. The plastic covering has a blue dye on it which will leave a blue, unremovable stain on your yellow seat. I'm older now though, and realize that everyone is a bit less intelligent than me when it comes to perfection. Other than that, I mow a great yard with a blue stain on the yellow seat. :)
