Give thought before buying at Lowe's
I decided on this model because the 42" blade model I first chose is banned in Ca. This model is priced $500 more and is equipped with an oil filter that I now realize will cost upwards of $50 to replace. I attempted to order online after viewing it at my local Lowe's, due to a bit of a Rakuten online rebate, as well as Lowe's Rewards. Good mower, do a thorough examination before using
The mower is good. Mowed 2 acres twice so far and it performs well. The reason it’s 4 stars and nor 5 is because of lowes, not the mower. Tires were at 30psi, oil was at a minimum and the spindles were under greased. So if you buy this from lowes, check everything before you run it for extended times.

Rugged little tractor for lawn and garden work
This is a sturdy and economical tractor intended for homeowner use. We have an acre of gardens, lawn and rough ground, all of which has to be cleared for fire safety purposes. This little tractor will be a great help in all of the related tasks - weed mowing, finer trimming, hauling brush and spreading mulch (we have a John Deere cart as well). Easy change not so easy..
Second time using the easy change and the filter will not go on...Easy change isnt so easy.Took close to a hour to remove the filter and yes im quite familiar with the easy change system...Best to steer clear of ANY easy chage system
No locking differential, Slips on slight slopes.
Not that great! Over Priced! Over Rated! My old Husqvarna runs (Mows) Circles around it!
