Good for remote power needs

I have had this about a year and it works good. I've only used the solar panels to charge. From full discharge to full charge without being used takes about 2 days. I've powered gazebo lights and a 42" tv with it together for a couple hours (didn't even go down to 60%) and a barn fan in my chicken coop. Easy, versatile field or backup power

We live among big trees in the PNW Winter Cyclone corridor, so get power outages fairly often. Part of the charm of living here. Great capacity and charge features!

Love the features and power capacity! We fully charged it up and then put it to the test with multiple, high-draw devices (toaster--twice, electric water kettle--twice, and crock pot--4 hours) and charged several, low-draw devices multiple times over 3 days (cell phones 6 times, 11,000mAh battery packs 2 times) and it still had 40% charge remaining. To provide an appropriate product review, I will begin by explaining how we intend to use this item. Our camper van has AGM batteries and a 1000 watt inverter. Performed beyond my expectations, so I bought a second one. For quicker charging I purchased additional solar panels. Got me through hurricane Helene so well I forgot the electric was out, lol. Powered my lights, microwave, countertop ice maker, television, Keurig, toaster oven, room air conditioner all without a serious depletion of the generator. Due to the additional panels, sold separately, recharge was quick and easy even on cloudy days. Pass through charging capabilities was nice too....

Power cord problem

This is my 2nd review because my first one was never put up as a review for some reason. The unit seems great and well built. Really my only current issue is the power cord. The black plastic box between the unit and the wall socket gets so hot. I feel like I got a faulty power cord. I am worried about that and will not use it now because I fear it will cause a fire. Good Product

I bought the 550 to have enough power for a few days with my CPAP. 2 days late on delivery; delayed my trip to wait for FedEx to arrive. 49% charge upon delivery. My trucks 12v cigarette lighter is broken so no charging while driving. Not enough power for an Airsense 10 CPAP through the night with humidifier on. I am sold on the concept.

500 watt runs nothing I need. Returned it and will most likely buy the 1000 next month. If they eliminate a few in the lower range maybe they can bring the price of the 1000+ down. Offer energy grants to low income for storm prepare. Also a great way to conserve natural resources of water used for electricity.

It is easy to monitor charging, status, usage.

I think it will do what I want it to do. In the last Texas black out, we were without power for 2 1/2 days then short periods of power for an other 2 days.
