Spitting, Leaking & Tripping Breaker

I purchased a HWT100 Dispenser, and it quickly became my favourite kitchen gadget. Unfortunately, near the end of the first year of installation, the unit began to periodically spit hot water during use. Initially, I assumed this was normal for it to suck air in to the system every now and then, but the issue progressively worsened over time. Invite Hot150 Not Suitable for Left-Side Install

This is a great product for mounting on the RIGHT side/back of a sink. However, with the non-swivel/not adjustable spout and the control on the right side of the faucet, if you wish to mount it on the left, your hand and wrist can easily end up under or spattered by the near boiling water. Having to push the lever back to turn the faucet on, makes it even more unsafe. We like it

Pros: Our sink takes forever for hot water to get to it so this is great for instant hot. I use it almost every day. Cons: I will probably need to put insulation behind it where it rests against cabinet because it's sort of loud when it is heating up. I assume insulation between it and the cabinet will help. Installation was horrible. They do not include a part you need but that may be due to different sized water lines and they want you to buy what fits your house not just their product. ...

Installed unit today,06/29/2026, and its working as advertised. Price was excellent @ $247.00.

Great way to get near boiling hot water

Easy install. Small footprint. Near boiling water out of the faucet.

Faucet does not swivel

Customers should be made aware that the faucet does NOT swivel. Therefore the the dispenser can not be turned around so that the handle is on the left side. As it is made, the water is turned on by pushing the handle back, which can be a problem if you have a backsplash. I cannot turn the water on full force because of this design flaw.

This product works as intended. Does not leak provides instant wonderful, hot water. Hopefully will be able to use it for tea soon..

This was a gift from my children, because I had wanted one for so long as my mother had had one for years and we loved hers. The main thing I wanted to use it for was my hot tea and coffee. We love our instant hot water heater

We have owned instant hot water heaters for the past 20 years. Our new home did not come with a hole in the granite top, so it took a few years for me to get around to purchasing a unit. Decent unit

Easy installation to replace a similar product, a bit more difficult to add it new since you'll probably need to replace the angle stop. As for performance, it doesn't get as hot as I would have thought, even cranked all the way up, but it's ok.

It is not as good as my other one

This is my second home and I have a hot/cold one in my other home. This one makes too much noise. I can hear it boiling the water continually. Also, after not using it for 5 months, the water was brown when it came out of the tap. I turned the temperature down while we were not here. Should I have turned it off instead of down? Not sure what to do when it is left for months at a time without use.
