Worth the money!
Mach 6 is about right. This thing breaks the sound barrier when rewinding. Awesome for those longer distance projects. Be cautious if you have smaller, lighter weight person helping you on the other end, while rewinding! You could possibly send the person kiting like a Wylie Coyote cartoon. broke 1st use
This is not my first chaulk line, but it is the most expensive one i have. I added chalk and pulled a line. The line was stuck and a foam piece fell out. There is also something like a bent paper clip inside preventing normal function. I have a dewalt for my red chaulk, no problems. The dewault reviews dont look great either. Lowes and IRWIN are usually decent. Lemon...?
Sturdy durable
I like this product cuz it was sturdy and durable. Wish it was made out of metal but feels pretty sturdy and held up to being dropped a few times. I would definitely buy it again.
Mine broke
It has a clutch that allows you to align the handle with the notch for the end. The clutch broke after 3 uses.
It does what it's supposed to
It was plane and simple which is nice. The material is light as well, so it doesn't weigh a ton.
Awsome
So bought this to replace an older chalk line I got in a garage sale, so the price was considerably more expensive, however, the gearing on the winding handle is truly a great improvement. The 6:1 gearing allows you to wind faster then you can walk so there is no slow walk to wind in the line. Didn't come with chalk, but it was very easy to fill. I'd buy it again!!
Good box
This is a good chalk box the only downfall I would think may be an issue is how it opens the top seems like it may be an issue as you use it down the road anyway. But it hasn’t you to this point.

Pulls and marks very good. I’m comparing it to my 30 year old unit contractors working at my house walked off with and never returned it as they said they would. Such is life, but now I have a better unit and a lighter wallet.

Great Replacement
I needed a new chalk line. The string broke in my old one that I had had for 20+ years. This one made an excellent replacement and I’m sure it’ll last a long time.
