What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Many users report it is powerful, maneuverable, and effectively cuts grass, especially on flat or gently sloping terrain. Key benefits include the hydrostatic transmission, reverse mowing capability, and tight turning radius. However, some users have experienced issues like excessive vibration, problems with the seat and deck adjustment, electrical/starting problems, and premature component failures. The overall quality and reliability of the product seem to be concerns based on the mixed feedback.

We own a small farm and bought this mower just to cut around the septic field and main house where we try and keep the grass well maintained. Our other mower is a much larger diesel tractor with a 7’ mower and brush hog. It’s way too big to mow over the septic field and around landscaping, etc. I had been using a push mower for this about 3/4 acre job but it, and I, was getting old. I chose this mower because of the hydrostatic feature, light weight, and price point. The operator platf...

Time will tell, but good for now.
I've only had my Husqvarna for about a week and a half and have basically only used it to grind up and blow leaves since the grass isn't growing much yet. It did handle this chore well. A few observations I have made about my new mower are, 1: the motor starts quickly and runs without sputtering, 2: the cutting height is easy to adjust up and down, 3: there is some vibration through the steering wheel when idling and this increases when the blades are engaged, 4: there are at times a bit of ra...
Thank you for reviewing your riding lawn mower!

nothing but problems poor quality
I bought the Husqvarna lawn tractor 3 yrs ago. Every summer I have a problem with it and it takes up to 10 weeks to get it fixed. This is not good in prime time of cutting grass. The first summer I had it one of the supports for the mower deck broke off and went through my mower deck causing damage to blades. When I took it to the dealer to get fixed under warranty it took 10 weeks to fix it. Then I was told I had to pay for the blades as this was not a warranty item but I said it was because of...

My First Husqvarna (mower)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review on a Husqvarna YTH1942 riding mower that I purchased in May of 2024. I bought this mower after considering the features of similar mowers made by John Deere and Cub Cadet and decided I liked the Husqvarna features better. So far, the mower runs good, does an excellent job of mowing, is comfortable, and has plenty of power for my needs. I like the steel, easy-to-remove hood, the deck with reinforced front edge, the forward/rev...

Multiple reviews
Read the entire review: Tractor: 4 to 5 stars: Over the past 30 years I've owned two Simplicity's so the bar is set high (nI still own the last one I purchased). This is a solid built tractor that is complimented by a Briggs 18.5 hp engine. The ride is smooth, maneuvers very well. Early indication of performance is that it is on par with Simplicity. Since I purchased this on 4/18/22 it is too soon to give a complete performance review. ASSEMBLY: maybe 1 star. The tractor was delivered on-...
Deck belt kept coming off.
I purchased this mower 3-4 years ago. I constantly had problems wit the deck belt coming off. I thought it was possibly poor design of the keepers. When the belt finally wouldn't stay on I would purchase a new belt. This corrected the problem for awhile but then it started coming off again. After doing this numerous times paying for a new belt I decided to look into it further. I adjusted the keepers a tight as possible. No use. I checked the spring on the tensioner and it seemed alright. I purc...

1 Year Later - Still Like It
I purchased this mower in July of 2022 as a first-time NEW riding lawn mower buyer. I didn't know what to expect overall. I previously had a 2nd-hand MTD which the engine died. My lawn has grass-covered hard ground and 3 10-15 degree angles in areas, and is about 3/4 an acre. It takes about 45 minutes to completely mow. So the hard ground is pretty bumpy with this mower and I have back and neck issues, so probably not the best mower for that. The mower is great on the inclines/declines of ...

No Warranty. Husqvarna won't back their product
After less than one year owning this mower, it started smoking smelly white fumes. I took it to a Husqvarna dealer (you pay for the transport. $200 in my case) only to find out that if the problem is with the engine, you need to take it to a Briggs & Straton dealer instead (and pay another $200). They blamed it on a $20 gasket, told me they fixed it, but the thing is still smoking like crazy. I can't afford to pay $200 in transport to take it to any more places so they barely look at it. Husqvar...

Not real happy
First, let me say the outdoor equipment people at Lowes were very pleasant and very helpful. Lowes corporate policies not so much. But I'll talk about the tractor. Picked up the first one, went home and put on the mulch kit from my old Ariens. It took a 12" ratchet and an 18" piece of steel pipe to get the nuts off. Mowed the lawn and thought I smelled gas when I parked it in my garage. Could see nor feel anything. Next morning area reeked of gasoline. Gas tank. Called Lowes, and was first to...
