1st, you need to get these from Lowes or a Dealer. Nearly any shipping by UPS/FEDEX will damage it as the packaging is not designed to be on the side or upside down. I purchased it from lowes as the dealer is only open 8-5 and doesn't take phone orders. I self-install, so the dealer is no help anyway around here. One year later..

This mower works great when it works. We have had multiple issues with the perimeter wire. When it's a break in the wire caused by our own dogs or a rabbit or squirrel, it's a pretty simple fix, and you can bury the wire to prevent that. Unfortunately, the wire loop has been interrupted without a discernable break, and the only way to fix it was to pull up and replace all of the wire. Repair folks are hard to come by. I have had a 430X automower for six years and came to love it dearly. Unfortunately it recently started giving me a "charging system problem" error. I purchased my 430XH over a year ago. To be fair, I have a very difficult yard and this mower does some things it is not supposed to do, like I have a 18" opening that it goes through. I have a steep fall away lot. I had to do some leveling out of the lot at the end of it, because the momentum of the mower coming down hill would go past the boundary line. I had low expectations but did alot of research and picked this model. Around the same price as a rider. I was shocked at how well it mows the lawn. I do have to mow the perimeter as it doesn't reach the edge. Burying the boundary wire was a chore! But I didn't trust just stapling it down and not having the wire get damaged as others have said. I’ve owned this device for two years and would NEVER recommend it - even to my worst enemy. It may be the worst purchase I’ve ever made, I cannot believe Husqvarna has come to this; company used to make really outstanding products. Save yourself hours and hours of headache and avoid this product at all cost.
